    Magical night

by Cyd2013 on 4/9/13Radio City Music Hall - New York

Leonard Cohen said at the beginning of the performance on Sunday night that he and his amazing band would give us "everything they've got." He certainly did just that. The poetry and musicianship were unsurpassed. My husband and I were so moved by the beauty of it all. Thank you Leonard!

One of the best concerts ever

by HughManOz on 4/9/13Radio City Music Hall - New York

Not just a concert but a revelation of life, darkness and love. A feast for the senses and the soul, a poem to the firmament. It made me proud to be human. And the tightest band in history.

    Leonard Cohen is magical

by Goesbye on 4/9/13Radio City Music Hall - New York

Leonard Cohen has turned himself from a poet, author and reluctant performer into a first class song writer and entertainer. If you like his voice (a concept that some may debate) he floats from the real world to the mystical one. His articulation has a tone of thoughtfulness when he reads his poertry or even takes a break to tell a story. Accompanying his world class lyrics and eclectic music are some of the finest back-up singers and musicians that are all well coordinated and in-sync with each other. Everyone on stage has the opportunity to shine in a solo predicated on some the the most magical and spirtiual music one can hear. Leonard is an inspiration to everyone that age offers you the opportunity to reinvent yourself and improve. You come home from his concert energized and spiritually motivated.

Probably the best show I've ever seen

by NYTLV on 4/9/13Radio City Music Hall - New York

The only reason for saying "probably" is that I've been to too many shows to remember. Leonard Cohen says at the beginning of the show that he and the band are going to give everything they've got, and that's exactly what they did. Cohen covers all of his hits and then some in a three-hour show (with 20 minutes intermission) and stays relatively true to the original songs. He gives his band full respect, let's all them have their moment to shine and stays on stage with them to show his appreciation.

    Leonard Cohen

by Herbbardavid on 4/9/13Radio City Music Hall - New York

The best concert I have ever attended. Mr. Cohen is a master at giving his all to his fans. His golden voice is better than ever as he approaches his 79th year of life. He has assembled the best group of musical masters in the world, who by themselves are stand alone stars in their own right. - this is the fourth time I have seen Mr. Cohen live. - I saw him two nights in a row, and if I had the time and money to follow him to Canada I would see him again and again.

Leonard Cohen is better than ever

by cooltimo on 4/9/13Radio City Music Hall - New York

This was one of the most amazing concert experiences of my life.. and I've had many. Leonard Cohen, at a very advanced age, gives so much of himself to an audience , not just in time (three and a half hours!), but in the brilliance of his music. The musicians he has chosen to work with are all superb and his music is beyond compare. A gift to the world.

    Never wanted it to end

by arachne on 4/9/13Toyota Presents Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

I'd seen Cohen before at the Beacon and at the Palace, but I think that this concert was better than ever. Cohen was in top form, gliding all over the stage, and getting up easily after bending on his knees. His band was perfection, and so was he, and the lighting and carpets on the stage were well-thought of and perfect. He sang old and new songs, and they were great. Usually at a concert, everyone is getting in and out of their seats and drinking like crazy, but there was hardly and movement at this concert, and nobody was noisy. There was a mixture of both young and old, and I think that every single person at the concert knew that they were seeing a real poet and artist and were humbled by that fact.

    A religious experience

by Waimeasun on 4/8/13Radio City Music Hall - New York

Leonard Cohen is a humble performer. He gives all his musicians a chance to shine. Yet he is the star; the poet, the spoke around whom the wheel of this magic revolves. His humor and his humanity make his show an event. More than an event it feels like a miracle. I never wanted it to end.

Probably the best concert and sound I have seen

by ljubitelj on 4/8/13Radio City Music Hall - New York

Voice and band better than ever. Most of the concert was one sublime moment after another. Truly amazing. I have probably seen 10 concerts of Leonard Cohen but this is by far the best.Very intense and relaxing at the same time. Beautiful 3 and a half hour performance. I was tempted to see the second show on April 7, but couldn't afford it.As perfect a concert as you'll ever see or hear
