    Tyson's truth

by sissacat on 2/18/14Abraham Chavez Theatre - El Paso

Though there were a few times I could not understand mike Tyson when he was speaking it was an incredible show. To see him animated and answering questions we all thought about over the year. He performed with grace and honesty.

He was hard to understand and the low volume didn't help much. Just had bigger expectations about the show.

    Uplifting

by DavidNickName on 2/18/14Abraham Chavez - El Paso

I forced myself not to watch the HBO showings so I could see this in person. Despite the tough times this guy has gone through it takes a lot of courage to go up there and own up to who and what you are. The acoustics in our theatre could have been better since it is difficult to understand Mike Tyson's speech pattern enough as it is. Abraham Chavez was a musician after all. Overall, a funny and courageous performance and I wish this guy the best in his future endeavors.

    Mike Tyson was great

by Reesecup78 on 2/17/14The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - Hammond

The show was awesome... I loved the way Mike Tyson had a great balance of tough and softness. He did an amazing job, as I know it's not easy to stand before strangers and talk about soem intimate moments of your life. The venue was very clean and comfortable as well. The show started at around 8:20pm, which was not bad.

    Tyson was great!

by Upstrucker on 2/11/14The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - Hammond

He did a great job telling his story. I enjoyed how he broke it up into comedy, drama and facts that only he could tell. I definitely look at him a bit different now. I have a lot more respect for him.

    Surprisingly Good !!!

by MrsSly on 2/11/14The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - Hammond

I must admit...I attended with a bit of skepticism...Within the first five minutes, all was erased !!! Mike Tyson provided the audience with humor, personal emotion and he also challenged us by sharing the snapshots of his life...The challenge, in my opinion, is to overcome your circumstances...

    Mike Tyson was Captivating!

by TheRealist1 on 2/11/14The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - Hammond

VERY good show. Spike Lee did a great job putting this together with Tyson. For almost two hours Tyson keeps you enthrawled in stories of trials and tribulation. With a touch of edgy humor commingled into the performance. Just goes to show that you cant judge a book by its cover.

Mike Tyson was Undsputable and Truthful

by Milesink on 1/29/14The MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

I saw Mile Tyson: Undisputed Truth on HBO prior to seeing him live at the MGM Grand At Foxwoods Resort Casino. Mr. Tyson did not disappoint. In fact he elaborated on some stories that may not have been appropriate for HBO programming. I felt he was brutally honest about his life.. The good and the bad. He was both funny and soulful in his delivery.

    Entertaining...

by Polito39 on 1/27/14The MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

The show itself was good. Mike Tyson was entertaining and at the same time covered the main stages if his life keeping the audience interested at all times. The sound if the theatre was to good at all specially during the first 20 mins. lots of reverb and echo made it difficult to understand what Mike Tyson was saying. It got better after a while.

    Too Sensational

by Toddbish on 5/23/13DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

The reason I went to see Mike Tyson was to hear from him the honest truth about his fighting career. I wanted to hear more about his relationship with Cus D'Mato. I wanted to know why he fired Kevin Rooney and proceeded to torpedo his entire career. The show seemed to be about more sensational events and frankly I got a bit bored. Perhaps I am naïve. I wanted to learn more about Mike Tyson the person. And maybe that was Mike Tyson. But I was a bit disappointed.

Tyson Great Show and Picture, No Autograph

by JPabon on 5/18/13New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

The Mike Tyson show was very well though out and portrayed by Iron Mike. I paid the extra money to get VIP tickets. I received front row tickets and a meet and great with Tyson which would include a photo and 1 autograph. The New Jersey Performing Arts Center is beautiful, great place to catch a show. As I said the show was great and Tyson was very engaging through out the show. The meet and greet was done after the show. My only complaint was that when we all got on line to finally meet Tyson. Someone announced that no autographs would be signed. That annoyed both myself and the other VIP guests. Do not get me wrong it was great to take a picture with Mike Tyson. However, we pain for VIP tickets which included in the description an autograph.

The undisputed truth was undeniably expressed!!

by Anniepannie on 5/8/13NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Mike Tyson did a superb stage performance of conveying in dialogue and drama the highs and lows of his life encounters. Never condemn a person based on biased media coverage. Refrain from writing a person off because of hard times or bad publicity. By way of patience, open mindedness and time, the Undisputed Truth was revealed. Thumbs up Mike, you did your thing. Thank you Spike Lee for embracing his story.

    it was just ok

by Italianboxer on 5/8/13NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

They didn't let me in with my amateur SLR camera and they didn't let me in with my gloves to be signed by Mike either. The show was ok. I was expecting more from Tyson, not just showing pictures in a backdrop screen and telling us the store of his life. I would like to see him more like an athlete. Also it was a long line to take a picture with him and he didn't even smile. Anyway, I still think he's the best boxer ever. G
