Fun and Informative and a Blast

by Jason on 1/31/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Seeing a podcast live is something that most people would question, but the parasocial relationship that one builds with the hosts of shows like Stuff You Should Know is one that lets you into the hosts' lives and has a bit of meaning when you see them live. Josh and Chuck are genuinely humbled by the way their fans react to their live shows. Watching them live is like a peek behind the curtain, and there are plenty of inside jokes that longtime listeners will appreciate. All-in-all it went as I had expected with a few other surprises in store. I will be seeing them again when they come to Seattle.

Makes all your podcast dreams come true!

    by Jess on 12/11/23

Man, what an experience! I attended the show in TN and I just had such an incredible time. I mean it was exactly the Chuck & Josh you get to listen to on podcast, but really there right in front of you! They were so much fun and so was the topic. The crowd was great too. It has been one of my favorite events I've ever attended and I'm so glad I got the opportunity.

    Take a break

by RD on 9/16/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

Fun and interesting. Would have like them to start on time and when they said “taking a break” they should have invited the audience to do the same. The biosphere was interesting but a variety of topics would have kept it interesting.

    Fun Times

The guys were great. Intersting topic I've never heard of. Fans had a chance to ask questions in the end. Will absolutley see them again.

    Great show

by Ponder on 9/12/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

I've been a SYSK listener for the better part of a decade and finally got to see Josh and Chuck live! And what a great experience it was, worth every penny. They were funny, genuine, and as always informative. I learned a lot as I had never heard of the mystery topic and it was so fun. My only complaint is a fact of life when going to a theater. My boyfriend and I were seated in the top balcony and I contemplated leaving several times because we were both extremely hot. Also want to take this moment to point out we did not have any alcohol before going into the show so it wasn't just us. I'd see them again in a heartbeat but I'd pick better seats.

Loved the show, the guys were spot on and it was a lot of fun. My only complaint was that there was no merch to buy!

    SYSK Live in Toronto

by Mackie on 5/9/23Massey Hall - Toronto

The venue in Toronto, Massey Hall, has seats with a slightly restricted view. I asked box office if I could be moved but due to my purchase via TicketMaster, they couldn’t. Sorted out with manager but inconvenient. The show was good, not great only due to the choice of topic which I won’t discuss here. Probably not the strongest topic for a live audience but their banter was great. Other reviews described a post-show Q&A but at the end, Josh and Chuck wrapped up quickly, said thank you and abruptly stood up and walked off with a few waves. It felt unexpected. Was it a fun night? Definitely. Will I book next time they’re in town? Based on the above, I can’t say

Josh and Chuck are great. They interacted with the crowd. The show was great. I'd go again.
