    Better Than Expected

    Great acting by all characters, but the actress playing the mom was the best! I love Stokely, and of course, he did his thing. I recommend seeing this play for an entertaining evening. I cried, laughed, sang, and danced IN MY SEAT!

    The show was absolutely amazing! Stokely did a wonderful job of portraying Rick! He has such range in his voice. The actress who played Rick’s mom has an outstanding voice as well. All of the actors were on point! I loved the costumes as well as the incorporation of other artists from the time! It was entertaining from the beginning to the end. I truly felt that I got my money’s worth in the show. Bravo!

    I was greatly surprised how Tastefully it was done and enjoyed the reminiscent of old music from back in the day up until now and I think it was a great experience from the age 8 to 80 to come out and experience a wonderful play

    I very much enjoyed my experience. I haven't been out in a long time. I took myself out on a date to this wonderful play. I had a jack and coke and was captivated by the performances of the actors. Much love and I am also going to the upcoming New Jack City play. I can't wait ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰

    Standin' on the Top...

    After Set It Off, Johnson had to come with the funk in order to top it. It was a great show. I thought the casting was done well, the length of the show, the historical accuracy.... It was great fun and had multiple generations singing and dancing in the aisles. We can't wait for the next production! I would've paid to go back again and take more people but STL was the 2nd to last stop. Bravo
