My 6 year old loved the show, thanks! She liked that George was out on the stage so so much!
Curious George Live was So great! I have a two year old and almost four year old; both children LOVED the performance and paid attention for the entire 90 minute show. A great story - well played by the actors and actresses. Would recommend to others! Well done!
The show was fine. My husband, our 7 year old and I would enjoy the show a lot more if there were no noisy kids around. A lot of families brought toddlers and small kids. There were crying and talking the whole time. We could barely hear the play. Lot of kids know Curious George but this show is definitely not for any kids younger than school-aged. As a parent, I will not expect small kids to stay quiet for an-hour in the dark like going to a movie theatre.
Curious George Live was a bit too loud for little ears and the merchandise was overly priced. The show is fun for the kids but a bit boring for adults. All and all there are better shows out there for the whole family to enjoy.
I have been to many children's performances and by far Curious George was the best. Great stage/set, fun songs, true to life Curious George and friends characters, perfect length of time.
My godchild and son truly enjoyed the show. They are a couple years apart in age and both equally loved Curious George. They haven't stopped talking about it.
Music and dancing and colors were cativating for my 3 year old son. He enjoyed the story line and all of the songs. Only drawback is iIt was about 20 minutes too long for toddlers 2-5.
The kids enjoyed it and it was generally well done. Singing and dancign were pretty good. Outfits were good. The Chief stole the show and was the top performer. The volume of the sound system was way too loud. My 2 year old sat with his hands over his ears for the first 30 minutes. It could have been much, much softer and still would have been very easy to hear. I would recommend this show, but would also recommend that they bring ear plugs or noise reducing headphones for themselves and kids.
great show! enjoyed bringing my nephew to see George!
The storyline was cute. My daughter was probably one of the older kids that attended, so it was definitely made for a younger crowd. Aside from the show, some of the adults around us were rather rude with their talking and disruptive children.
Both my kids 2 & 4 loved it. My only complaint is the George only visited the front row when he left the stage when there was more then enough room to walk around the floor section.
We enjoyed the show - the music was great, but suggest a little audience participation by having the kids dance or something. Kids get antsy. Spent a lot of money on the preshow deal and didn't get any info with our tickets, so we were late for the "meet and greet" and didn't get much time to see George.
We were awed by the talent of ALL the the cast members. They clearly chose top-rate singers and dancers. The music was not only sung fabulously, the content was positive and had many good lessons for the kids and even the adults! The story was very creative and the stage was bright and well-put together. We especially liked the Man in the Yellow Hat!
We were a little disappointed by the show. It was mainly musical numbers and I was hoping for more of the usual Curious George story. My kids agreed - we actually left early. When they did narrate the story, that was our favorite part. It was pretty long and also really loud. Not sure if it's because of where we were sitting, but I had to cover my little girls ears for most of the show.
I thought the show had a good introduction, plot and closing.
The cast is very talented and the songs and scenes were perfect for the audience. My 17 month old was captivated upon the start of each scene. He actually sat still for over and hour and watched - something that has not happened in a LONG time! Even the trinkets sold were appropriate both in actual product and price. It was a very fun experience to share with my son.
Curious George wasn't out there the whole time and the plot was hard to follow.
It was hard to hear the performance and my kids (6-1/2, 5 and 3) were a little bored throughout (and so were my husband and I). They love Curious George and have enjoyed other Disney performances at the Target Center but this didn't capture their attention. I was disappointed. Not enough excitement to keep them entertained!
not the greatest story line. Took too long with the whole meatball thing...Could have been more musical and interatcive.
