  • Great as always

by LG on 11/8/24Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Thanks Steve Earle for once again bringing together a great group of musicians to tell stories and play music together! Jackson Browne sounded great as always and it’s always good to hear Steve when he’s playing solo and not being drowned out by a too loud band. Larry Campbell’s fiddle and guitar work was excellent as he accompanied the performers. Great format and an excellent show all around.

  • Underwhelming

by BrowneFan on 11/7/24Town Hall - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

In what was billed as a Jackson Browne concert, he played four songs. It was a new experience, but not worth the time or money.

  • Laid back and magical!

An exellent, informal night of music from a group of master musical storytellers.

  • Special night

It was a wonderful concert celebrating an excellent cause, Autism. The performances were great and heartfelt. I would have enjoyed it even more with a few more group songs being performed rather than an entire "round robin"of songs except the finale.

  • Great Show for a Great Cause

by Chris on 12/6/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

We really enjoyed the performance by Steve for the Keswell School for Autism. What a great cause and very thoughtul of Steve. All the performers were excellent. John Mellancamp....Pink Houses....loved it!!

  • Very Good But Still a Bit Disappointing

by Google User on 12/6/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

I liked this show, which also featured short sets from John Mellencamp and others. However, although it was advertised as Steve Earle and the Dukes, there were no Dukes. Steve mostly played solo and sometimes joined with the other acts (but not Mellencamp). So, things weren't as rocking as I'd have hoped, but still a very good evening of music.

Steve Earle is the genuine article and never disappoints, especially when he has John Cougar Mellencamp as his wingman!

  • The Keswell School Benefit Show

by Philody on 12/6/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I had the pleasure of attending Steve Earl's benefit concert for the Keswell School, and it was an incredible experience. The night was filled with amazing music from both John Mellencamp and Amy Helm, who each brought their unique style to the stage. The energy was electric, and the audience was completely engaged from start to finish and Matt Savage did a great job opening (Huge Supporter of Keswell). First time hearing David Bromberg and it was a treat! Steve Earl himself was a fantastic host, interacting with the crowd and making everyone feel welcome. The best part of the night, of course, was knowing that the proceeds were going towards such a great cause. The Keswell School is an amazing institution that provides education and support to children with autism, and it's clear that Steve Earl and his fellow artists are passionate about making a difference. Overall, it was an unforgettable night that I feel lucky to have been a part of.

  • I didn’t know what to expect

This was an amazing show. The amount of talent on that stage was just staggering. I will be going to this event again next year.
