Spencer Day was a breathe of fresh air Saturday night - So Glad I was there to experience it! Villa Montalvo was the perfect setting to showcase Spencer's Charm and talent.
We have a GREAT time and Spencer Day gave a wonderful performance. It was a beautiful venue and very intimate. The sound was great and I couldn't believe how much better he sounded than his CD's (which I already loved). He performed a great mix of songs and was enjoyable to watch. I wish I could travel around and watch him all the time. Montalvo was a perfect venue and they did a nice job with the wine and setting him up afterwards to sign autographs.
I feel that I'm going to be able to say one day that "I knew him when." He is a marvelous talent!
As always, Spencer Day put on an unforgettable performance. He played some new songs off his soon to be released CD along with his older songs.
i really didn;t know what to expect from this up and coming young man, but was i blown away. He voice is so clear and crisp, you can understand him and he can change his tones, and he's a little comical as well. got to meet him afterwards and he is very friendly and humble and worth the time to see and buy his music. And he's very cute!!!!!
Spencer put on another wonderful show. He is humorous and very talented!
This small venue was absolutely amazing.Due to the small theater it was a friendly and intimate atmosphere. Spencer Day is a extraordanary artist. Fantasticly clever song writer. Can't wait to see more frm him. LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF THE CONCERT.
Wonderful! Delightful! and with a little more maturity he will be a STAR. Although he said he was moving to London for a theatre opportunity but I hope that doesn't allow the US to forget him
Unfortunately the venue choice wasn't the greatest - only maybe 1/4th of the seats were filled. The Giants were in the playoffs vs. the Phillies so that may have reduced the crowd size. But everyone in my row decided together to move up close to the front, and everyone there seemed to have a great time. He is a great entertainer: singing, piano playing, chatting with the audience, giving props to his excellent musicians (the violin solo early on alone was worth attending this show!). And he signed CDs and chatted with anyone who waited, in the lobby after the show.
