    This wasn’t was I expected.

by CK on 12/4/23Moore Theatre - Seattle

Honestly, this was very weird. It was watching two people talk about their spiritual journey. Rainn and the host mostly interacted. It was not funny, it was barely biographical. It was BEYOND BORING. Not to mention the Moore Theater was FREEZING COLD. We left after an hour. And so did many people.

    Rainn's an interesting guy

by Mike H on 12/4/23Moore Theatre - Seattle

Rainn is an interesting guy, lots of stories & insight into humanity. I had the pleasure of teaching him alpine skiing a few years ago and found him to be well studied in a great many areas...plus he's funny & fun. It was well worth running over to Seattle to see him!

    Fantastic event- strange marketing

by Buddy Pine on 12/4/23Moore Theatre - Seattle

We knew what to expect (we weren’t expecting Dwight). But a lot of the audience did not, and this was marketed as comedy. We struggled to hear and pay attention as people talked / woo-hooed and took pictures with flash throughout. This should have been marketed as a book talk/lecture and made more obvious it wasn’t Dwight Schrute holding a beet making jokes. The Moore is beautiful but flipping freezing and the snack area coffee station sitting on a broken legged table led to interesting results. Wonderful event but be more honest so we can weed out the people only coming specifically for comedy.

    Boring

    by Nikki on 12/2/23

Was advertised as a comedy. Yes there was a couple good punch lines but that’s it a couple. But far from it. We got up and left when religion was heavily being shoved down people throat. If there was a way to get the money back sooo would!

Was no comedy not what I was expecting

by Ati on 6/4/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Was a good event if you were trying to go to a charity event and not a comedy show which is what it was advertised as which really sucks

I guess we thought this would be more like a comedy show?

    Meh..

    by P on 6/2/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I was hoping for more comedy from Rainn Wilson. The childrens songs that were performed was not geared towards the right crowd.

    Completely disappointed

    by L. L. on 6/2/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

This event was a charity event/celebration of a nonprofit and it was never promoted as this. It was marketed as a comedy/music show. Rainn Wilson didn’t even perform. He just emceed it. My fiancé and I were completely disappointed and felt like we were tricked into attending.

    Not great

by Meg on 6/2/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I expected more from the show. There was a kids entertainer and an interview with a lawyer. Hardly the night I thought would be filled with music and comedy. The best part was Joel Mchale. Im glad it was for a good cause but the line up couldve been better and less advertising for the foundation.
