Having seen the movie versions many times, the NC Theatre presentation was a fun, lively and entertaining rendition of the original! I took a friend and it was her first time ever to the Duke Energy Center in Raleigh. We both loved it very much!
From the opening act to the conclusion, this play had all the pluses...energy, drama, comedy, singing, and most important--GOOD ACTING. I laughed and laughed. Enjoyed Sister Act immensely. I've told others this is a must see production. Keep them coming.
Loved Sister Act. Great seat. Friendly and help staff. Appreciated the mailed discount coupon on ticket. It's why I decided to go.

I completely enjoyed the show from beginning to end. Everyone did a great job, but 1 person stuck out the most to the people in my section. There was a short cute dark skinned girl that had a part in almost every scene of the play and she stole the show for us. No matter a backup singer, nun, walking with her boo, or just dancing around stage. She was wonderful, vibrant, energetic and that smile. Hate I only had time to come on the last day, cause I would definitely have returned
This show was FABULOUS, Baby! The talent and set design blew me away. I wish it was still running because I would go again! Thank you a for an great night! 😊

Acting was entertaining and phenomenal. It made me interested in returning to see more plays.
I was expecting a lighthearted comedy with catchy music and choreography. It had some of these elements but was somewhat offensive to me as a follower of Christ. The use of God’s name “JC” in jokes and curses seemed unnecessary and insensitive. Spinning the crucifix like the wheel on a game show was disgraceful. It was apparent that the producers were aiming for an atheist or anti-Christian audience. I am neither, and was uncomfortable many times during this show. In spite of the very talented voices on the stage I cannot recommend this show.
The singing and performances were tremendous! My whole family enjoyed it! I attended with my parents who are in their 60s and 70s, my hubby and my 11 year old son and we loved EVERY minute of it!! 🙌🏿🙌🏿🎉🎊🎉
