But the wonderful performers and the paying audience were robbed by not having a dramatic begining to the show because of the three people speaking before it started. Everything they said could have been conveyed in the written program, and on-line, and using 5% of the words they used.

by Dana T on 6/1/22Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighThe Cary Ballet Company is a youth ballet company affiliated with the Cary Ballet Conservatory but presents itself on par with professional-level companies. The dancers are so well-trained, and also passionate about their dancing, which makes for excellent entertainment. Bonjour Le Monde was lighthearted and the costumes were visually stunning. The contemporary works were hard-hitting and athletic. Serenade was a masterpiece all the way around…exquisite dancing filled with intensity, accompanied live by the talented Triangle Youth Orchestra.
