NEEDTOBREATHE have spent over two decades developing a unique sound that blends elements of rock, country and Christian music. The South Carolina band was formed in 1998 by brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart. They expanded the outfit into a quartet and released a string of independent projects before debuting their first major label effort, Daylight, in 2006. NEEDTOBREATHE’s sophomore album The Heat (2007) marked the group’s first placement on the Billboard 200 and earned the group their first No. 1 on the Christian Airplay chart with the single, “Washed by the Water.” Their 2009 follow-up The Outsiders elevated the band, reaching gold certification from the RIAA, while 2011’s The Reckoning marked more crossover success after notching their first No. 1 on the Top Rock Albums chart. With 2014’s Rivers in the Wasteland, NEEDTOBREATHE broke into the Hot 100 thanks to the Gavin DeGraw collaborative song “Brother.” The single “Multiplied” led to the band’s first Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song. NEEDTOBREATHE reached a career peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 2016’s Hard Love. In 2020, the group announced the departure of Bo Rinehart and have since released three studio albums as a quintet with Bear, Seth Bolt, Josh Lovelace, Randall Harris and Tyler Burkum.

NEEDTOBREATHE puts on an amazing live show! Love that they do a mix of electric and acoustic. The concert brought a variety of emotions for me. I rocked to the music, lifted my hands in worship and cried to songs that brought memories of Momma who passed in February. Loved every moment of it! Already planning to see them again in September! ❤️ Their opening act, Judah & the Lion, were high energy, fun and sounded FABULOUS! It was a great night!
Amazing performance and fun event, can't wait for round 2.
I have seen NTB at least 15 times and this was my favorite show by far. They were truly engaged this concert and seem to have recommitted! They were flat the last few shows, not that the music wasn't really good, but rather going through the motions. Love!
Great band and venue. Light show was nearly seizure inducing. flashing, bright, laser and strobe lights - highly distracting from the music, which was also wayyy too loud. will probably not go back to a similar show due solely to the lights flashing in our eyes. we left barrly half way in it was ao bad.
The concert was fantastic! They are one of my favorites and the light/media show was impressive. The venue was great and the weather perfect. I loved everything about the concert except NeedtoBreathe starting at 8:30. I wish it had been 8:00 instead.
Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Needtobreathe at the Brandon Amphitheater. I have one hiccup to report though. We had first row seats in Section A closest to the stage, but could not see well because 2 or 3 tall men were leaning against the barricade inside the pit that separated the seating area from the standing section. So we bought $25 pit tickets and ended up adjacent to the stage for an outstanding concert. Next time, we will just buy pit tickets and stand close to the band.
One of the best concerts Ive ever been to, both bands put on a great show
NEEDTOBREATHE is fantastic! Entertaining, uplifting, inspiring show! Leaves you wanting more every time!!
NEEDTOBREATHE never disappoints, this concert set was particularly fantastic! Loved the multimedia backdrop, as well.
