Go see Lotus Plaza
by pillarsofautumn on 7/19/12Brighton Music Hall - BostonMy friends and I have been rocking Lotus Plaza for the past few months and we were pumped to see them when we found out they were coming to Boston. We bought tickets a few months before the event and later found out that Chromatics and Hot Chip were playing the same night at the House of Blues. I've been listening to their new albums just as much if not more than Lotus and bought tickets for that as well. We figured we would see chromatics and some hot chip, then go over to BMH for Lotus Plaza. Everything worked out perfectly and we walked in at 11 right when they started and maybe 75 people showed up. We couldn't believe it but then we thought it was a Tuesday, in Brighton, 3 other shows were going on and there was a red sox game in July when school is out and it's hot. Anyways, they rocked, we had an awesome time, bought their vinyl for 12 bucks and would definitely recommend checking these guys out if they come to your city.
