Lil Texas on Tour

Electronic musician/DJ Lil Texas, whose real name is Samuel Barry, is known for his extreme brand of high-speed techno music that he dubs Texcore.

Through hardcore live DJ experiences, Lil Texas has transported audiences at renowned festivals, including the Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland and EDC Las Vegas, and has sold out countless headlining shows. Engaging fans through what he calls the Texcore movement, which is fast-tempo dance music filled with samples, Lil Texas takes pride in offering a refuge for people who are "ostracized, f***ed with or the black sheep in the EDM community."

Gaining notoriety for a 2021 hardcore dance remix of Lady Gaga and Elton John's tune "Sine from Above" with Chester Lockhart and Mood Killer, Lil Texas' reputation for providing an upbeat, euphoric escape from life's daily troubles keeps growing. Don't miss the chance to see this groundbreaking DJ when he performs live in a city near you.

Lil Texas Live in Concert

Born Samuel Barry and raised in Dallas, Texas, Lil Texas attended Berklee College of Music. Interested in performing music from a young age, he reportedly joined a local band in Texas before he turned his attention to DJing and EDM.

Buff and tattooed, Lil Texas relocated to Los Angeles to seriously pursue his EDM career. His dedication and hard work paid off, and he quickly became known on the circuit, performing at major festivals and even catching the ears of high-profile DJs like Skrillex and Marshmello, both of whom included his tracks in their festival sets.

Vice magazine called Lil Texas' music "skull crushing and totally alien" adding, "It's fun, and funny, and it'll totally destroy your brain if you're not in the right space for it."

After releasing a string of EPs, Lil Texas put out an ambitious full-length album, aptly titled Faster, which is categorized under the Texcore genre. Lil Texas says Texcore is an homage to his Southern roots and it's also a way for him to distinguish himself from other artists in the EDM genre.

    An awesome night of uptempo!

by Beau on 1/29/24Summit - Denver

Hard dance music, especially uptempo hardcore isn't as prevalent in the US as I would hope. Thankfully hardcore hooligans and heavyweights like Lil' Texas, Vieze Asbak, Yosuf, local hero Hartshorn, and Mutil8 were able to grace us with a great night of hardcore and hardstyle. Keep keeping the rave alive! I've never seen a more engage crowd jumping and dancing in such a wild way. Can't wait for them to come back again!

    Good.

by Person on 4/24/23The Observatory - Santa Ana

The hardcore openers were good but should've played later. Lil Texas was good;he had a variety of hardstyle, happy hardcore, uptempo, hardcore, and closed with a terror. I'd go again, but they need to work on changing the set times.
