Jimmy Page attended their concert in London and said “They were extraordinary and superb musicians. Joe Perry of Aerosmith said he’s never heard it done better while the respected US Rock magazine SPIN called them the most powerful all-female band in rock history. And when the Guardian claimed they are the best tribute band in the world and The Gazette telling everyone that these 4 girls rocked harder and louder than their male counterparts you have an event not to be missed, especially if you are a fan of not just Led Zeppelin, but hard energy rock.
Founded in 2004 by New York Guitarist Steph Paynes (Recognised as the best female guitarist in the world) The all-girl quartet have been driving audiences into a frenzy.
This is their first tour down under and if other countries are any indication, you better get your tickets early.
Great energetic show by fantastic musicians, will definitely see again
Guitarist is excellent as well as the drummer. Sounded like Page and Bonham; outstanding. The lead singer was very good and a great performance by her antiques were on que and exhilarating. Not to leave out the bass guitarist who is very talented in her own right playing several instruments. They all did not miss a beat! I would definitely go to see them again. Well worth the time and money. The sound was perfect with the acoustics at Mickey's Black Box at Rock Lititz in Lancaster County, PA. IT was FUN, FUN, FUN, and enjoyed! Hats off to this all female band who is dedicated to their playing and performance. If you're a Led Zep fan, I highly recommend seeing them.
I’ve seen Lez Zeppelin about a dozen times over the last few years and they are always spectacular. Their talent as musicians and their love for the music make every performance a joy. I’ve been to the Gramercy theater a bunch of times over the years too, and the sound is never optimal. It’s super loud (I’m older, but I don’t mean that kind of too loud). It just isn’t balanced and doesn’t do the artists justice. I’ve seen other acts there as well and it’s the same situation. Nice staff.
This was my 6th time enjoying these 3 ladies + 1 guy. Not sure what happened to the female drummer but this guy is a machine! Steph, Leesa & Joan are very consistently awesome! I'm a LZ diehard fan since the summer of '69 when the local jukebox guy loaded in the 45rpm "Good Times Bad Times". He recommended we listen to it with the many free credits he gave us. From that day forward they were my favorite band and I'm amazed as how relevant the music still sounds today. I'm very critical of cover bands but this band is the best ever up there with Jason Bonham LZE. I already bought tix for their March show in Red Bank NJ.
The band is amazing - fantastic musicianship - esp Steph Paynes on guitar and theremin and Marlain Angelides on vocals. Really a great and fun show.
I have seen this band MANY times. This show was the BEST yet!! If you ever see that they're doing a Led Zeppelin concert show instead of a "greatest hits"show......RUN to get tickets. It's where they THRIVE 🤘🔥
Lez Zeppelin is a high energy fast paced group that rocks the house. Marlain Angelides is very engaging and draws the crowd in. Steph Payne does Jimmie Paige better than the maestro himself. And along with Joan Chew on bass they bring sensuality and passion that will leave you wanting more. Can't wait until I can see them again.
Led Zeppelin is a very difficult band to cover. Lez Zeppelin was fantastic and very entertaining. We will purchase tickets whenever they are in town.
Lez Zeppelin is an incredible Live experience and brilliant celebration of Led Zeppelin. These awesome musicians performance of the entirety of “The Song Remains the Same” at their sold out show had the crowd begging for more. We all could have watched the performance AGAIN that night! It was that Good!
The band is so good and has tremendous energy! Best Zepp cover band I've ever seen. Only bummer was the venue, which inexplicably decided to set up seats on a normally GA standing area. This band is too high octane for sitting down so we stood at the bar for whole show!
