Hip Hop Forever Tickets

A lot of artists to share the stage with crammed in a certain amount of time. All of the ol skool did their thing.. Wu-Tang amazing. MJB was disappointing, and the group she brought out was good, but felt forced and wasn't necessary. All else can be forgiven but the audio was bad! Not enough full sound overall and we didn't need to hear every artist tell sound crew to turn their mics and sound up.. especially Funk Flex lol.

From mic and stage issues to performers… not performing it was a bit of a let down. I was especially upset that Mariah Carey who was listed as a special guest never showed up. Waste of money for sure. Tickets should’ve been a bit cheaper for the set up and performers. Mary J. Blige was a bit of a let down, she came out did a couple notes and made the audience sing the rest and was dancing around. WE CAME TO SEE YOU SING, not us… Wu Tang Clan was definitely the highlight of the event.

The show was great! Awesome lineup. The sound and mics made it not so great. I expected better for the Garden.

Definitely a memorable night at MSG, the biggest stage EVER. Was a wonderful experience, everything went smoothly. The concert was absolutely the best. After 30 years, I finally got the chance to see some of my favorite artists like Wu Tang, EPMD, Mary J. BLIGE, even the LOX came thru on a surprise. And I had great seats. Definitely worth every penny.

I actually got my tickets at the last minute & end up getting 3rd row front seats for a fantastic price so it was up & close to the artist which my wife loved & no complaints from me so it was already starting off right. The artists who performed was from EPMD to Wu-Tang Clan & a special treat with Greg nice & cl smooth & other OG’s acts which was a wonderful surprise guest appearance it was icing on the cake. Puff daddy better known these days as diddy remind the audience that Bad Boy was nothing to play with knocking out hit after hit. There was newer artist that popped out & showed out & can’t forget French Montana & the lox who always bring it to the next level there energy,& performance is always effortless & efficient on the mic they sound just like listening to them on the radio no lip syncing no effects just raw & hardcore. As for the main act Mary well it’s my 3rd time seeing her perform & I can’t say she lived up to the hype the last 2 times. She lip sync a lotttt!!! of her hits & expects the audience to basically sing for her as she sticks the mic out in the crowd. She does have numerous hits but I don’t know if it’s me? But I think people paid to see her perform not walk the stage & seem like you’ll better be happy I graced the stage & see me in person. If you are a Mary fan you better of listening to her at home because you will get got.Phenomenal performance from Wu-Tang they killed it & we all got lucky that all the members was there & brought it to another level they are hip hop to the fullest extent & didn’t disappoint. Meth even brought out redman to knockout 1 of there hits. Can’t forget about Funk Flex who kept the audience on there feet in between acts so there was never a dull moment.Maxwell,& Tyrese was on the bill but didn’t perform they just brought out 2 artists. They should of let Maxwell perform he sounds great live can’t say that for the other host though.Overall a great experience and I got my $$$ worth. To every 1 who blessed the stage thanks for keeping it GRIZZLY!!!

The concert started off great! Sean Paul got things going and EDMC and Funk Flex had great performances. Prissy killed it BUT he took Tyreses’s spot so we didn’t hear him sing at all. Mary was so disappointing, she let the crowd sing 80% of her concert. I didn’t come to NYC to hear the crowd! It was excessive the amount she had the mic turned to the crowd. Concert overall ran long and they started rushing and cutting stuff, organizers need to do a better job.

When you have a long line up every artist should have a 3 min limit on stage

FunkFlex did his thing putting this together! It was such a positive and powerful experience. A tribute to hip hop....who would have thought we would see the day. Every performer with one exception was AMAZING! I partied from the time I got until Mary closed the show. We need an R&B concert next...hint hint. What a pleasure to bring my niece and let her hear what great music is.
