    Tap Into America!

    by M. C. on 11/11/19The Wiltern - Los Angeles

This was an absolute blast. Derek's voice was a little gravelly, but who cares when you get to see a LLL (Living Legend Live)? The guest spots were excellent, even if Billy Idol flubbed a lyric or two. And Donald Fagen via satellite may have been the funniest moment of the night. I was drunk as a skunk (do polecats drink?), but I certainly enjoyed the visuals -- even if there were two sets of them. DS's new stuff sounds pretty good, so I'll have to pull the foil-wrapped cucumber out of my pants and go get the new release. And of course the Tap classics were great to hear again. Sir Eaton Hogg would've been proud of this show.

    Crowded Aisle

by Jake on 11/11/19The Wiltern - Los Angeles

We were seated behind the aisle that separated the main floor from the back rows. People were consistently standing in front of us having conversations rather than enjoy the show. Wiltern staff did NOTHING about this whatsoever as they would walk right past these rude people blocking our view. I had to ask people 5 TIMES to move so we could watch the show from our PAID SEATS.

    Epic musical extravaganza

by Farrell on 11/9/19The Wiltern - Los Angeles

An amazing array of talent led by Derek Smalls presented "Lukewarm Water Live" which included the best of Spinal Tap with an excellent selection of Dereks with material from his new release. Keith England, Judith Owen, Waddy Wachtel, Dweezil Zappa, Billy Idol, Steve Vai and a host of others great musicians and singers were mixed with hilarious videos. This was a entertaining and funny evening.

    Surprise!

by MrLonedrum on 4/17/18Saenger Theatre New Orleans - New Orleans

I had no idea what to expect. Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer) and band and symphony. But it was quite a production. Lots of video backdrop with Shearer's lyrics. Very funny. Didn't hear the symphony enough. Rock band was top notch (way better than Spinal Tap). The drummer didn't explode but he came close at one point. We were glad we went. He never explained why he changed bass guitars at each song.
