Chuck Negron Concert
by Stella on 3/5/19Orleans Showroom - Las VegasHe performed very well, we could hear his voice which was not drowned out by the band's music, and it wasn't glitsy, as so many LV performers feel they must have for their shows.

Have always enjoyed Thee Dog Night for over 40 years and thought we would give Chuck a try solo. We enjoyed the songs, the music and overall feel of the experience. With that said, don't go to see him if you expect TDN perfection, you won't get it and be disappointed. Chuck is in his 70's. Generally he did a fine job but could not always sound like his old self. Expected! His band was great but do not have the same harmony key sound as the old Dogs, but not bad. It was a good show, only negative was Chuck was irritated with the band a couple of times and let it show. This was bad and should never have happened. Keboard/organ player was Excellent!! Overall, not bad.
Chuck sounds great and the Golden Nugget is a great venue!
Three Dog Night was a big part of the soundtrack of my life, and I love the music Chuck Negron plays. Any show he has in Vegas, I'll be in the front rows.
Had a wonderful time at the concert. He was obviously not feeling well, but sang his heart out for us, did extra songs at audience request, and sang almost all of Three Dog Night's greatest hits. His little extra jokes and info about the band were funny, and showed his personality. In the past, he has been a bit shy, but he was great tonight. I would love to see him perform again.
EXCELLENT SHOW! SANG GREAT CLASSIC SONGS I FORGOT WERE FROM THREE DOG NIGHT WISH THEY WOULD OF LET HIM PLAYED LONGER THAN 70 MIN. LEAD GUITAR PLAYER WAS PHENOMINAL. HIS GUITAR SOUND ON PIECES OF APRIL GAVE ME GOOSE BUMPS!
Chuck put on an excellent performance. Did a lot of the old Thee Dog Night songs.
if ur of the age to remember grand funk and 3 dog night then u would not be disappointed these 2 guys were the band leaders both can sing like hell and mark Farner plays a mean guitar a loud strong set by Farner then all the hits by chuck Negron as only he can do it the voice is unforgettable
Mark Farner opened the show and came onstage ready to rock. He played Grand Funk Railroad songs and was amazing. What a showman he was. He owned the stage while singing, playing guitar, keyboards and drums. Chuck Negron was disappointing. The band had sound problems and Chuck didn't sing very well on many songs. He often mentioned he had breathing problems and memory issues too. I love Three Dog Night and all the great songs they recorded over the years but this performance was not up to par.
Hubby's all time favorite band, didn't disappoint!
