Bros Fresh, Kalu, and Ben Throw Down

    by J_ on 4/21/24Scoot Inn - Austin

Bands were FANTASTIC. I would criticize the venue for poor engineering on the opening acts. Bros Fresh were especially too quiet, all stage volume. I could barely hear their vocals above the drums. Kalu had similar problems, his female guitarist (stage left) did not appear to be in the mix for several songs. Ben got the all star treatment, sounded great, but I found it disrespectful to the supporting acts that their overall volume was so limited. Thumbs down to Scoot Inn for this oversight.

    Awesome show

by CRF on 4/21/24Scoot Inn - Austin

This was our third time to see Ben Kweller and was absolutely the best. Saw him in 2009 where he did an acoustic set, then more recently at a festival (ACL). This show was at a small venue, outdoors and we were on the front rail. His set was high energy and the band very tight. He played songs throughout his catalog and the band seemed to have as much fun as we did. We were close enough to shake hands…which is exactly what we got to do since he came to the merch booth after the show. He was super nice, signed my son’s copy of Sha Sha and let us get a picture. He even said he had seen us on the front row. Can’t wait to see him again!

A wonderful concert full of nostalgia, special guests, a touching tribute to his late son, and an incredible set!

    by Reid on 7/30/23

I don’t know how a father can pull himself together and deliver a fantastic show after a terrible family tragedy. Just amazing! I would highly recommend the Scoot Inn and Ben Kweller. Keep Dorian’s music alive!!

An amazing 3 hour experience! From the opener Robert Ellis to the Dorian music/videos tribute to Ben’s epic show, we absolutely loved it. Ben’s talents and love for his music and everyone around him poured out to the crowd. Scoot Inn was the perfect venue to host such a touching evening of incredible music!

We had a party of 6 out for the show and we loved every moment! We've been fans since the sha sha album, so we were singing along for every song. Thank you for helping us make special memories as a family.

A Great Time For All Ages

    by Paul on 7/17/23

Ben Kweller always delivers a great show and this time was no exception. I see him every time he comes to Dallas. I am 67 now and it is well worth sneaking out of the rest home to attend. Ben is extremely talented and fan friendly. He always has some great new songs as well as his classic standards. He is more than a recording artist. He is a true entertainer.

    Fantastic evening

    by Happy Camper on 7/17/23

Wife says it's her favorite concert ever and it's in my top five. We've been to countless concerts over the years. Ben was engaged with the audience and played his heart out. Great venue. Intimate yet lively, with good acoustics. Wish I could go again tomorrow and see the same concert.

Came for Robert Ellis, now a BK fan!

    by B Funk on 7/16/23

At first I thought it weird, Ellis opening for an act I did not know, but I soon realized Ben is the real deal. Every song catchy as hell. Robert Ellis played keys, rhythm, sang backup,, and occasional incredible blazing leads on his Tele. The combined 4-piece band sounded so full and essentially like an arena rock show, but way more intimate and personal. Ben's vocal and playing style feels like Weezer-meets-Wilco. Would love to see this band combo take off to a new level...
