Low attendants but they performed as if it was a SOLD OUT show. The play was great!!
The play was poorly written. Too many hostile jokes from Chris. The play could have ended at intermission. The characters were poorly developed. The wedding processional at the end of the play was pointless at an already bad play. The sound system was bad. A waist of time and money. Did Shelley Garret know that this was a total disaster because he was a no show.
I am a big fan of all theater but this play was just poorly done as there were problems with the sound throughout the play which only added to the 30 year old dialogue. It was also sad to see the theater only about 25% full on a Saturday night show. Also the show did not have any playbills and when asked they stated we don't have them for these type of shows? This could have been a great performance had they moved the topics to things that are relevant to 2018 but overall the attempts at humor were poor and this felt more like a high school play than a professional production. For the money spent to see this show I would not recommend seeing this show.
It was the first time I attended a play at the music hall and I hope they greatly improve the microphones used by the actors. The night we went it was horrible and many people left early because of the sound. I don't know if it was the sound engineers or the equipment but again it was horrible and everyone that attended should receive a refund!
The sound and lighting was horrible! The writing was not good and dancing as well as the male stripper was not needed! The wedding procession was too long and the gay dude had too much of the script! The play needed more none named actors
I had low expectations but my wife wanted to see it so I took her to see this play. I was very surprised and had a really good time. I suggest all men take their ladies to see this play. It was very entertaining.
Really enjoyed Shelly Garrett work.
Whenever this show comes to town, it is always at the top of my list to be in the house! Amazing cast. Amazing talent. Tons of laughs. Such a great show! Recommending that everyone sees this at least once in their lifetime.
I enjoyed this play a few a years back. Im excited it'll be in town again so I can take my mom to enjoy it.
The Godfather of Urban Entertainment celebrates the 30th Year Anniversary of his incredible Stage Play, Beautyshop!!! Looking forward to seeing this play!!!
