My wife and I attended the play back in 2010. It was hilarious!!! If you haven't gone, I would advise you to catch one while it's in Dallas. We will definitely be there! It's guaranteed to keep you laughing the entire time.
My husband and I really enjoyed the play when we saw it a few years ago. We enjoyed it so much that we will be going again.
Beauty shop was one of the funniest plays that I have ever seen. The cast of characters are the best. I am looking forward to seeing it again.
I have seen several of Shelly's stage plays and have been impressed at the way he ties comedy into serious situations. I am looking for to the 30th Anniversary of the Beauty Shop.

Great revival, the actors were picture perfect for their roles! I loved the audience participation.
I attend many theater events and have seen many black stage plays, however, this one was the worst by far. very raunchy & offensive. poor acting and poor writing. I was so disgusted I left after 40 minutes.
Shelly Garret put on a great show. Loved the story line. The characters kept you laughing. Loved the audience participation singing the old songs.
