About

ARCADE FIRE IN CONCERT:

Arcade Fire are the undisputed poster band of indie rock's ascendancy in the musical mainstream,  proving with each successive album that it's possible to be both a critical darling and a populist favorite. For 2013's Reflektor, the band teamed up with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem  to record their most ambitious collection of songs yet, topping charts — and critics' best-of lists — around the world. As revered for their frenzied live shows as they are for their records, the band has fans eagerly awaiting the 2014 Reflektor Tour, which includes headlining slots at Coachella and Glastonbury.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

" Had heard so much about how electrifying their live performances were. It wasn't hype. This band puts it all out on the stage. I'll see them again...and again...and again!”

" A huge fan of Arcade Fire and they did not disappoint. Absolutely love their presence. The show was unbelievable."

" The show was amazingly energetic! It was without a doubt one of the best shows I've ever seen."

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

When Arcade Fire released their debut full-length Funeral in 2004, critics hailed it as an instant classic, heaping big praise — and even bigger expectations — on the Canadian art rockers. The band delivered on the hype, topping charts around the world in 2007 with Neon Bible and again in 2010 with Suburbs, dark horse winner of Album of the Year at the 2011 Grammy Awards. In 2013 the band released Reflektor to yet another No. 1 spot on the BIllboard 200, also making time amid their busy touring schedule to provide the score for Spike Jonze's film Her.

  • New material didn't bang, hipsters lapped it up

by Nadahombre on 5/7/25Brooklyn Paramount - BrooklynRating: 3 out of 5

I was a huge fan of their first 2 albums. Since then, from Refleckto onwards I've found the band's disco pop rock shallow and empty ... fine if you're just looking for in the moment fun but of little substance. The audience lapped it up for its hipster vibe, but while the show had some good moments, it otherwise felt devoid of a real vibe, and with the exception of the track Alien Nation, their new material had little impact on me. 5 stars though for crowd interaction with Win Butler singing from the crowd on several occasions, and afterwards when the band led the audience out of the venue to sing and play on Dekalb Avenue. The show will remain more memorable for that

Arcade Fire is so back. Their new album was super fun to dance to and sounds super promising. And when we got to the old songs, the whole crowd was entranced. The members are all amazing performers with so much energy and sincerity. I miss it already!

  • Phenomenal show

by kback on 5/7/24The Masquerade - Heaven - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Arcade fire puts on a truly phenomenal live performance. While the music and the talent are incredible to start with, it is their enthusiasm and energy that bring the crowd alive. Masquerade is a great, small venue, and the Arcade Fire concert was one of the best I have ever attended. If you can make it to a show, go! You won't be disappointed!
