About

The All-American Rejects wrapped up the summer of 2013 as the main support act on Blink-182's 20th Anniversary Tour, but the quartet from Stillwater, Oklahoma, is no stranger to headlining their own tours. They hit the road for the first time back in 2001 and have been delighting ticket holders ever since with their captivating, high-energy performances. Their hook-laden music has a tendency to scoop listeners up with its catchy melodies and tasteful pop arrangements. After forming in 1999, the band reached critical acclaim with their 2003 debut album, The All-American Rejects. The record went platinum and featured the single "Swing, Swing." Since then, they have stayed on the pop-chart radar with half a dozen more hit singles, including "Dirty Little Secret," "Move Along" and "Gives You Hell." Their impressive career has landed them two platinum albums, one gold album and worldwide sales of over 10 million records.

Speaking of worldwide, The All-American Rejects' romp across the international stage recently found them in Malaysia, gracing the stage in concert in Kuala Lumpur with fellow rockers The Wanted and Five For Fighting. The band's tremendous climb up from humble middle-American roots rings poignant with music lovers, and their fan base continues to grow with their success. They engage fans on YouTube and Twitter with their down-to-earth, boy-down-the-block, easygoing attitudes. Not to be blinded by technology, they keep their collective thumb on the pulse of the past. Lead singer Tyson Ritter admits to being a "total vinyl kid" and collecting records from Miles Davis and ELO. The singer also recently released a solo song, entitled "Air," in an attempt to tide fans over until the next album.

    The All American Time Machine

by Martian Textilez on 9/26/23The Great Saltair - Magna

The way they went back to front she’s off music made me realize how much this band really revolutionize my being and why my band sounds a lot of the way it does today. Tucson and everyone’s balance with immaturity jokes love laughter and live music is how it should be done. I absolutely loved them. Only showed up for them. Everyone else was great but I’m an all American reject

    Great show!

by KRRK on 9/26/23The Great Saltair - Magna

They had a great set. The venue was okay. It was only standing room, and we were right by the lake, so the mosquitoes came out to bite all night. But All America. Rejects didn't disappoint! I hope they return!!!!

    New found glory was great

by Phil on 9/26/23The Great Saltair - Magna

We did the meet and great with new found glory. Definitely worth it. Took a picture and talked with them. Got a pic from Ian Grushka and hung out with Cyrus after the meet and greet. Honestly I was there for NFG and motion city sound track. All American rejects put on a great show though. I'd like to thank AAR for putting together a great tour.

    Holy Profanity

by Suzie on 9/26/23The Great Saltair - Magna

The Venue was in a cool location at The Great Saltair but there were swarms of mosquitoes being right by the lake. The venue was supposed to be non-smoking but there were many people smoking e-cigarettes, marijuana and cigarettes including the staff members. Needless to say that policy was not enforced at all even though there were small children there. The 3 bands before All American Rejects were good but then when it got to them it was not good at all. The vocals in first few songs were really bad. He said the F word so many times it would have been rated far past an X if it was a movie. The amount of profanity and just crude jokes between songs and having the crowd chant things with the F word it was very classless when he knew there were children in the audience. All in all I would NEVER go see The All American Rejects again or go to that venue again when there is clearly no reinforcement of policy at the venue and that band is just bad in so many ways.

Just not thrilled with the venue

by Tina on 9/26/23The Great Saltair - Magna

I was smarter with parking this time than I have been in the past, but I got eaten alive by mosquitoes on my walk to the doors. I want this venue to be as awesome as I find other SLC venues; its location is gorgeous, its relatively inexpensive for tickets (depending on the artist), the building is super cool, but it just doesn't live up to my expectations. The stage is small, too... idk. I keep giving it second chances because I want to see the artists that go there but I always leave disappointed.

From Shaky Start to Rocking Finish

by Brassidy on 9/26/23The Great Saltair - Magna

The first 3 bands were whatever but on brand and the crowd seemed to nostalgically respond to them - even though I didn’t. The All American Rejects start had us feeling a bit uncertain at the beginning, with a shaky and oddly energetic start. However, as the performance progressed, the lead singer tightened up to meet the incredible band and delivered exactly what we had hoped for. It transformed into an electrifying and memorable show that left us thoroughly entertained. Overall enjoyable but there were some questionable moments.

    Amazing!!!

by Emily on 9/26/23The Great Saltair - Magna

They sounded amazing live, had great crowd interaction, and had a setlist with a good variety (they sang a lot of their famous songs but also some of their good, lesser known ones). I would suggest anyone go and see them if you enjoy their music! They did not disappoint!

All American Rejects and New Found Glory

by Rzman58 on 9/26/23Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - Denver

New Found Glory rocked the house ! The All American Rejects is just another Chick band kind of like Hinder. They were okay wish they would have been the backup band not New Found Glory. I give NFG a and AAR a 5 .

    The crowd was awful

by CeeMe on 9/25/23Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - Denver

I’ve been following the “20 year tour” revolution for the last few years of the pop punk era as we know it to be so great, and this was BY FAR the worst crowd that I’ve encountered. Sorry AAR that you have such a terrible following that don’t even THINK about recognizing the other great bands of our past that were touring with you.

First 3 bands ROCKED! AAR - you were just okay.

by Casemeister on 9/25/23Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - Denver

Get Up Kids, Motion City Soundtrack, and NFG were so nostalgic and fun. Their energy was great. Tyson was weird. Said he didn't know how to connect with the crowd, played a lot of their newer stuff, and ended the show saying "Thanks Denver - you were really just okay."No one wants your new stuff. We're here for the nostalgia to escape our lives for a brief moment dude. You're not the rock star you hoped you'd be. Let it go. Honestly, the show didn't seem worth the $100.

    Horrible show

by The elder emo0 on 9/25/23Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - Denver

Horrible show, all American rejects demanded $100 a tickets so Tyson could walk around stage moaning into the mic for two hours. If you’re going to this show please please do not unless you paid less than $50 anything else is a waste of money. On another note tho new found glory was amazing and worth it.

    Literal sigh

by CD on 9/25/23Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - Denver

I used to listen to ARR all the time growing up so it pains me to write this. For a band that’s been around for so long and has so many hits and great songs, we only heard a handful. They played about 4 slow, mellow songs in a row, which turned it into a snooze-fest. Not to mention they did it right at the end of their set. Then they called the Denver crowd the weirdest fans they’ve had on tour. I guess we weren’t expecting the B-side tracks and slow music when we spent so much money on tickets. I don’t plan on seeing them again, but I hope they are better for anyone who hasn’t seen them.

    Once in a lifetime!

    by Bails on 9/3/23

The performance was amazing! The rejects really gave it their all, and the crowd had plenty of space to move and sing all our favorites! Forever given them hell<3
