Comedy trailblazer and actor, Dane Cook, is known for his legendary stand-up comedy specials, unparalleled stage presence, and observational humor. He has released a number of record-breaking comedy specials including "Vicious Circle," "Isolated Incident," "Harmful if Swallowed," "Retaliation," "Tourgasm," and "Rough Around the Edges: Live from Madison Square Garden." In addition to stand-up comedy, he is known for his various acting roles in movies such as "Good Luck Chuck," "My Best Friend's Girl," "Dan in Real Life," "Employee of the Month," "Waiting..." and more. In October 2022, Cook released his latest comedy special, "Above It All," through the emerging platform, Moment, which quickly soared to the top of the comedy album charts. "Above It All," for which Cook reteamed with famed director, Marty Callner, debuted with an unforgettable premiere event at the World Famous TCL Chinese Theatre. Most recently, Cook announced that he has partnered with Super Channel to produce a documentary on his life titled, "Brace for Impact: The Dane Cook Story." Cook, originally from Arlington, Massachusetts, currently resides in Los Angeles with his fiancé, Kelsi Taylor.
Show had so much potential to be better. He dabbled with dunny stuff but dragged on trying to tell a story more then his jokes. The mohegan sun arena still hands down best to see a show. No seat is bad
I love Dane Cook and will always be a fan but his material and delivery at this show was disappointing. He spoke a ton about how he got started in comedy but his stories weren’t very funny at all…it almost felt a little sad.
Hotel was great! Smelt good! Dane cook was great! Made me laugh. Staff was kind.
The show was great, Dane has not missed a beat in 31 years. The venue however was terrible. They packed us in like sardines, it was like 100 degrees in the room. We could not stay for the whole show because we were so uncomfortable sitting on top the person next to us and heat exhaustion. They had a temp bar set up for the patrons but not enough space. Stood in line for 45 minutes waiting for a cocktail. Will not see a show there again unless they change things up. Thanks Dane!!
Very slow and not so funny start. Got better but then he was done very quickly
Great Sunday night laughter in the air the opening comedian was so very funny hard to catch my breath I wish I could remember his name and Dane Cook was great too good to have some fun Sunday night
Great experience, I have seen Dane every time he has been to chicago. This time he started a bit slow but he finished with a bang like always!
Dane cook was very good as was Drew Dunn. They came out on time and were very funny. I felt like I really got my money's worth on the show but the venue was a totally different story. We were not allowed to bring anything in to drink from the downstairs bar, etc. The only place to get drinks was a kiosk outside of the auditorium and it was a total nightmare. there were no prices listed and we were very rushed. There was only one person there and the line was unreal. I ordered two double vodkas on the rocks and when she said that it was $64.00 I was flabbergasted. There was LITERALLY 2 shots of vodka in each plastic cup and unless the ice chips were made of gold I don't see how each drink could have been $32.00 each. I already had my card in the reader so there was no way I could give the drinks back or stop the transaction from going through. Not to mention the line that was behind me was very restless and rude. Oh and for some unknown reason in IN people are allowed to smoke in the casinos. Talk about a death trap. Overall I would definitely see Dane Cook again but I will NEVER go into that venue again. Dane was great. He was so funny and personable. I love how he talks to the audience. Beginning was a little slow going but halfway through he really hit his stride and had me and my husband both laughing non stop! He is my favorite and I love his stage presence. His opener was great too!
Only thing that could have been better is if the venue didnt put the seats so close together. Literally shoulder to shoulder with whoever you sat by. I shouldnt be able to smell the breath of a stranger.
From his opener who starts out british to dane telling us all to have sex at 1 am it was a fantastic time
The warm up guy was funny. Laughed almost the entire time. Was very excited for Dane. We were very disappointed to have spent $160.00 for this. Parts of it were funny enough, but most of it was just not what I expected. Very slow start to his bit. All the casino stuff was boring. Besides the show, the chairs were crammed together. Practically sitting on the guys lap next to me. It was very uncomfortable and it was hot. Overall, not much good to say. Loved spending time with our friends, but we had more fun going out to dinner before the show than we had at the show.
Drew Dunn (the opener) was hilarious! Dane cook was not funny. Unfortunately. Everything was off, his audience interaction, his material, his punch lines…. Was a big disappointment
We had such an amazing time watching Dane and Drew perform!!! 1:00 am… what a wonderful suggestion 😂 I didn’t yell “Dane Cook” though!
The opening act was great!! Maybe our expectations were too high. We left half way through. He wasn’t at his best. Disappointed.
The show was rough. It felt like he was winging it the entire show and i found myself looking at my watch to go. I will say the intro act was fantastic.
Opening act Drew Dunn was HILARIOUS! Laughed the entire time. Dane cook was a little disappointing and I’m so sad to say that! I laughed a couple times in the first 15 minutes but then it got to be more of just story telling and not real jokes I guess. He tried but it just wasn’t hitting. Much love for him still!
Dane cook is good but he’s getting old. Not as funny as his stand up in the past.
This was the 6th time I’ve seen Dane, and he did not disappoint! Laughed the entire time, thanks for an amazing night!
The open act was great, Dane cook was funny but not his best work, the seat at treasure island we sat in were so uncomfortable and terrible and I even purchased good expensive tickets I’m very disappointed and would not pay to see again there.
