1st time at an OSU Men's Hockey game and had a great experience. It was fun hearing the band playing during the game and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Boys 11 and 10 years old enjoyed the OSU vs. Notre Dame on Friday, January 17th. They loved getting the tickets for Christmas. Game was exciting, especially the last few minutes and even went into overtime and then a shootout. Fun night for the whole family!
The game was great and we went into double overtime and a face off
Had a great time. Took my 2 oldest grandkids and they both loved it. Planning on going again soon!
Great arena and very family friendly and affordable!!
OSU hockey never disappoints! Clean venue and they entertain you from beginning to end! Very family friendly!
The game was fun, the arena is great & overall a great family fun event.
We had GREAT seats for $10 each, and the venue even announced that anyone could move down towards the end of the first period! That hardly ever happens. We had great food, great fan experience, lots of fun. Will definitely do this again.
We had second level seats at center ice great view of both ends of the ice. We enjoyed the athletic band performing Script Ohio. The concessions were hot and fresh. Those great items and the Buckeyes beat TTUN. We had a great time.
Getting into the arena due to parking was a nightmare. Took us 15-mins to find a spot then another 10-mins to walk into the arena. We basically missed the entire first period. Staff was great and the value for the ticket price is amazing. Just figure the logistics out of parking or show up an hour before the start.
The Schott was great. The ushers very friendly. The game was fun and exciting with give-aways and a fantastic pep band playing ALL the Buckeye favorites!
Bought tickets for my daughter & I to hopefully see our Buckeyes win their B1G Championship semi-final game. Unfortunately my daughter wasn’t able to go, so I invited my younger sister. We had a good time. Seats were good. Price was affordable. Result was not what we had hoped for, though. Hopefully they’ll have better results in the NCAA tournament. Go Buckeyes!!!
The game experience was fun but getting into arena was not! Had to park at least a mile away. Parking attendants seemed confused, and caused me to drive in circles. After quite a bit of time finally was able to find a place to park. After a 10 minute walk. Was able to locate seat 5 minutes into first period. Seats were good but isles are tight and seating is squeezed together. My wife was informed at entrance that there was a $2 lap charge for small children. That’s ridiculous ! After the game it was easy to get back to car riding shuttle provided. Advice get there early unless your familiar with parking situation!
Had a great time. We sat in the wheelchair accessible seating. Plenty of room for my sons wheelchair. Parking situation was great. Food was very average or I would have rated a 5 star.
We loved everything about it--great hockey, great college traditions, honoring our military, awesome band, easy parking/leaving and best of all: families with small children really enjoying a night out.
I was in a group of 6 for a Saturday night hockey game between THE Buckeyes and Notre Dame. The Schott is great venue. Parking was free. It was easy to get to being right off of 315. Staff were friendly. Ushers were eager to help us find our seats. Food and beverages were good. Only issue was seating. If you’re over 6 feet tall, your knees will be in the seat in front of you. If you’re on the heavier side, seats are tight. That’s something I need to change. Still would be shoulder to shoulder.
Biggest issue we have with this venue (Nationwide Arena) is the seats are so much tighter feeling than it is with the Schottenstein Center. A lot of the employees seems a little more stiff personality wise. The band sounded great in there the announcer was hard to hear and understand sounded muffled. We both enjoy the bucks at the Schottenstein better we didn’t care for a BJ game because it seemed stiff and boring. The Buckeyes game was awesome best hockey game we have seen so far we are newbies. This was awesome. Every time we went to NWA for hockey we have ended up sick. Well I’m now sick again. Coincidence maybe but glad we seen this game we enjoyed it completely.
This game was exciting at every moment. The energy between the band and the crowd was fantastic and enjoyable to watch.
OSU Hockey is a great sporting event to attend. Great seats at good price. Beating Michigan is a bonus!!
Great Venue. Friendly staff. Would recommend. We attend about 30-35 events per year at NWA.
