by AJ2424 on 4/24/11Empire Polo Club - Indio

THE BEST MUSIC FESTIVAL IN THE WORLD!!! Life changing, pure and simple. The BEST music, the BEST music groups, and the BEST people. Camping was a 24/7 party and being at the venue was %100 excitement every moment I was on the grounds.

    THE STROKES WERE OUTSTANDING!

by swuz on 4/24/11Empire Polo Club - Indio

We had a great time! The line up was great, the sound was great! The ROSE GARDEN WAS BEAUTIFUL! I think that VIP needs to be more VIP and perhaps a different entrance. No matter how much fun I had there, getting out and back to our shuttle was an extremely long process. I just seemed like we walked and walked and walked. Unfortunately that detered us from getting there earlier and staying later. It would be nice if the VIP was a little more elite. It really still seemed like we were part of the crowd, further away from the stage yet we paid twice as much. For some of the smaller shows it was nice but for main stage shows it was just like everywhere else. Thank you for sticking to set times. It was nice that even though artist were late, you stayed with the set time.

    Coachella rocked!

by shotsshotsshotsshots on 4/24/11Empire Polo Club - Indio

The most beautiful festival I have ever been, From the initial mass of windmills entering palm springs to the monday morning sunrise, everything was a rare treat for ones eye. The line-up did not hold back in any way, every hour of every day there were artists who I was extremely excited about. All was friendly and I had an 'AWESOME' time. Only downside if there was one, was the limits on alcohol being British I really missed standing watching a band with a beer...Although I was distracted with all of the different attractions from the bicycle powered stage, the arts tents, early morning yoga, roller disco...phenomenal I would Coachella to EVERYONE!

    The Unforgettable Coachella Experience

by AllieeGee on 4/24/11Empire Polo Club - Indio

It is definitely one of those moments where you just have to be there. The sun may be scorching in the desert sky but there is plenty of water to stay hydrated, and the music makes it worth being there. There are also where you can cool off and take a break from the sun. The art displayed around the grounds provide for something interesting to look at. The light display in the Sahara tent was something worth seeing as well. But above all, the bands were all great. My favorite by far was Arcade Fire with one breathtaking show I'll never forget. The whole atmosphere of Coachella is definitely something worth experiencing at least once in a life.

Best Unexpected Concert Ever, By Far!!!

by ElBoogie11 on 4/24/11Empire Polo Club - Indio

Wasn't expecting to go to Coachella, I was expecting to work. However we got VIP last minute for Saturday and Sunday and it was the unbelievable! I've been to tons of venues and shows and Coachella by far is the best! I was very hyped to see Kanye West but Duran Duran and The Strokes were so amazing too and I'm not even a fan of theirs but I am now! Superb show! Nas and Damien Marley were unforgettable, the vibe is amazing, no riff raff. I highly suggest getting VIP, it's an oasis away from the general crowd with nicer bathrooms.

    Great set list

by lollapop1 on 4/23/11Empire Polo Club - Indio

Unbelievable set list. So many great performances. This festival is excellent for sampling a lot of acts, the sets are not long and the venue is smaller so it allows one to see many different people. There was a small amount of sound bleed over but was not real noticeable.

    SIIIICCCKKKKKK!!!!

by KETTCELEBRATE on 4/23/11Empire Polo Club - Indio

Coachella was an insane, unbelievable, amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone who loves live music and eclectic gatherings! The venue was awesome and I can't wait to go next year, and the year after, and so on, and so on... :) 2011 was my first Coachella and I was blown away by every aspect the festival had to offer. Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons, Chromeo, Animal Collective, The Kills, The Strokes,The National, Duran Duran, Kings of Leon, Nas & Damion Marley, Ms Lauryn Hill, Interpol, and especially the Black Keys...ALL SO AMAZING!!!!

    Good but not amazing

by kthrynileen on 4/23/11Empire Polo Club - Indio

Probably not the most compelling line up Coachella has ever had but this was not my least favorite and there were several stand-outs, including Tame Impala, Radio Dept., Twin Shadow, Delorean, Leftfield, and PJ Harvey. Could have done w/out Kanye & Jimmy Eat World - kind of don't understand why they were there.

    Ridiculously Awesome!

by Snoopy222 on 4/23/11Empire Polo Club - Indio

I know, it's a lot of money and all that BS, but I highly reccommend this show to anyone if you can last! haha It's 3 very long days of music, but it goes by so quickly. The best show I have ever been to. Coachella really knows how to entertain and it is well worth the cost. $300 for 3 days of pure fun and great music is soooooo worth it.

    VIP wasnt what I expected

by CTCM on 4/23/11Empire Polo Club - Indio

I paid a lot of money for VIP tickets and I travel from Alabama for the event so I was a bit disappointed with what VIP got me. The way the event was roped off you had to walk a good distance to the entrance and no-one seemed to know where VIP ticket holders should or should not enter. We were sent around in circles for a very long time until we finally ended up right back where we started from. Finally a knowledgable person told us we could actually enter at the first entrance we had tried to enter through. Additionally, the information about the VIP's areas was not readily available or well advertised. Apparently there were more VIP area's than we were made aware of so we spent our time in the VIP area next to the beer garden. VIP didnt offer any free drinks or food that I am aware of... but I was certain when I purchased the tickets the site said that there would be these things.
