Dave Attell, the legendary stand-up comedian's, new Netflix Comedy Special HOT CROSS BUNS premiered in March to huge numbers and rave reviews. He is best known as the host of Comedy Central's INSOMNIAC WITH DAVE ATTELL, which gave him a cult following. He can next be seen in the Hulu series LIFE & BETH alongside Amy Schumer, Michael Rapaport, and Michael Cera. He can also be seen on BUMPING MICS with Jeff Ross, currently streaming on Netflix, and HBO's CRASHING with Pete Holmes. His series DAVE'S OLD PORN ran for 2 seasons on Showtime, and his stand up series, DAVE ATTELL'S COMEDY UNDERGROUND, and his one hour special, ROAD WORK, were featured on Comedy Central. ROAD WORK is currently streaming on Paramount+.
His film credits include Chris Rock's cult film, POOTIE TANG, FUNNY PEOPLE, SCARY MOVIE 4, and LOS ENCHILADAS and in the Amy Schumer films TRAINWRECK and I FEEL PRETTY. His television credits include, THE SIMPSONS, DIFFICULT PEOPLE, BOB'S BURGERS, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, THE JIM GAFFIGAN SHOW, THE JIM NORTON SHOW, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER, LOUIE, ED, EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND, and TOUGH CROWD WITH COLIN QUINN. He was named one of the "25 Funniest People in America" by Entertainment Weekly Magazine. When not on the road, Attell makes regular appearances at the Comedy Cellar in New York City.
This was and is the greatest show ive ever seen at Cobbs plus a bonus add on of Attell, Louis Katz, and Ian Fidance doing a roast of each other, the best line up ive ever seen live.
Tight seating was the only issue. Thought all comedians entertained the crowd. Had an awesome time!
Dave was hilarious! The opening acts were funny, too. After the show, Dave was signing posters and taking pictures with the fans. My brother and I got to meet him. I couldn't believe it! The whole experience was awesome. Dave is a modern day king of ribaldry.
I was not impressed with his show. I heard him on his HBO specials years ago and loved him. I thought all his hacking up hairballs was in bad taste. I didn't think he was as funny as he could have been. At the end of his show, when he brought the other comic back on stage I should have walked out....it sucked!
Opening acts stank, but Dave is amazing. I would recommend seeing him anywhere.
The show was great, but the seating set up absolutely sucked. L’Auberge concerts outside are pretty cool, but the event room left everyone crammed tightly in cheap chairs and the stage wasn’t raised so you’re staring at the back of peoples heads the whole time
I have been a fan for 30 years. I used to watch several hours of stand up every week. Dave always stood out from the crowd. He mixed some great local humor into his act and ended the night with some hysterical riffing with Louis Katz. J.P. Leonard was a terrific opener. My sides hurt when the show was over.

All 3 comedians gave a stellar performance. We are from Lafayette LA and I appreciated having a "home town" boy on the stage. The riff-off between the other 2 comedians was hilarious and I loved how there were "no holds barred" regarding the content during the event. All in all it was a great experience!!!! I would love to go again!
Dave and his opening acts were excellent. So funny, interactive and top notch. The venue seating left a bit to be desired. Hard to see because everyone was floor level. But Dave and company were hysterical!
I don’t have any other shows to compare this to, but Dave Atell made us laugh nonstop the whole show. It was the most fun I’ve had I a really long time, thanks for a great night, Dave!!
I've been a big fan of Dave for a long time, he and the other comics did not disappoint! However, they were only on stage for a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Dave was coughing and clearing his throat a lot, to the point where he said "that one was my COPD." I do believe he really is sick and has COPD due to his excessive smoking before he quit. I was expecting him to be on stage for at least an hour, but after about 25 minutes of his solo act the other 2 comics joined him onstage for an insult session similar to his show "Bumping Mikes." all in all I haven't laughed that hard in a long time, I just wish he was able to perform longer, and if he indeed is sick I wish him a speedy recovery.
Great to see Dave Attell live! He was great and the comedians that performed with him were great too! We especially liked Will. I think this might have been one of the 1st stops on the tour. Hope they have a great tour!
I really didnt enjoy the show. I was thinking Dave Ettel was sick. He kept coughing. I actually thought the first comedian Vic was much more funny. I think Dave was unsure of the audience. I felt like he brought out the other comedians at the end because he needed help
Great show but seats were to close together. Be prepared to touch your neighbor even if your not a large person.
My husband and I went out for our first date night in ages. We couldn’t have picked a better show to go to. I wasn’t expecting so many openers but they were all so funny. By the time Dave came out, the crowd was rolling in laughter. Dave did not disappoint. His dry humor had us laughing the night away. This is one of the best stand up comedy show I can honestly say we’ve ever enjoyed.
The show was EVERYTHING! Special guests, drinks, atmosphere, total extreme fun!!
Dave brings it!! We laughed At every joke. He’s a comedians comedienne - great banter with the other comedians too.
And if you get a chance to see David Attell him person,go. The third time I have seen him, and each time I miss jokes because I’m laughing so hard at the previous. He is quick and clever with the audience, and just an excellent standup.
