The orchestra players did an amazing job. The dancers were unbelievable! Perfect!
When beautiful music combines with powerful dance...the results can bring you to tears of emotional joy.
Very nice show! The dance and music are so wonderfully capture Argentine Tango's flavor. I would give a 5 star if the company also give audiences a playbill to read and keep like most of the compaies do.
The live music was amazing! And the dancers were superb! Real Argentine tango. If you like dance and music don't miss this great show
Disappointed thinking it was going to be more than it was. Songs should have been done in English or screens so people knew what she was singing.
It was amazing and a must see for tango dancers, especially the 2nd part of the show. Fun and beautiful!
This was my second time to experience Forever Tango. While it was not as impressive or exciting as the first time (7 years ago), it was still a great show. The dancing was spectacular, the band was great and so was the singing. Good job!
Luis Bravo's Forever Tango successfully depicts the history and culture of Argentine tango. Traditional, old-school, staccato, tango music is played by a collection of gifted musicians and provides the canvas. It is the dancers who paint the picture and each dance is a masterpiece. The dancers exhibit a "tango attitude" and it's pretty hot. Not a word is spoken and none are needed. It is easy to see why Forever Tango has been such a success on Broadway. I feel fortunate that I was able to see it in an intimate venue.
It was really, really good!!! I was very surprised that there was never a dull moment or it never lost our interest for a second. I would recommend and have recommended to go see Forever tango whether you like dancing or not! The Dancers are all great. I have seen Tango shows in Buenos Aires and I can honestly say that Forever tango is better then a lot of them with there dancing, live band, story telling and singing. We will go again!!
The music was sublime. Lovely dancers and the theater was comfortable.
The first time I saw this show was 8 years or so ago in Philadelphia. It was the best, I was most impressed and moved by that show. Since then I have seen them twice, and it seems progressively it got worse and cheap. Few notes on this show. 1. Cheap costumes 2. It seem like they recruited local talent but they danced like high school kids. Worst of them all was the PA system, who was the tech for this show. I think this will be the last time I see them.
I saw Forever Tango over 30 years ago and it was a good as I remembered it.
We enjoyed the show a lot however we came to see dancing not so much orchestra music and solo singing. 4 x solo's were too much and while much of it was to allow the performers to change outfits the main couple seemed to be off stage more than onstage. The other couples all did solo acts as well as all the group acts. The 3 accordians were a little much, too dominant in the music.
It was AMAZING very professional overall the dance performance, customs, music and the performance. I was very impress, I highly recommended...
Simply put. I love this show. This was my second time seeing it and it's still great!
If this show comes back again, I will make sure to get front row seats. The dancers were amazing beyond belief.
I have seen my share of dancers, but this performance of Forever Tango was just brilliant. The dancers, costumes, degree of difficulty with such subtle movements that were filled with passion and precision. They did justice to the art of Tango and made everything appear so easy and effortless. I was mesmerized from the beginning to the end of the performance. Our singer was equally wonderful and I can't tell you how amazing the musicians all were and they did a magnificent job of performing and preserving the music which was perfect for the occasion. There wasn't anything negative I could possibly say about this performance. I would actually see it again, again and then again.
Grate dancers, musicians, & singers. Don't miss it.
When this first started we thought it was going to be just alot of music, however the dancing finally started. Beautiffully done and got the true ambience of the Argentine Tango.
the quality of the musicians overshadowed some very good dancers.
