311 in Concert
311 defined the 90s with a style that many bands would come to embrace – folding rap into more traditional forms like alternative rock and reggae. Their early 90s' hits "Down" and "All Mixed Up," tracks that carried their self-titled album to the No. 12 spot on The Billboard 200, introduced the world to an original sound that remains popular today. "Over the past few years, we've realized we're primarily a live band...and we're damn glad for that," said lead singer, Nick Hexum. Their fan base, dubbed the "The Hive", agree because every 311 concert is an intense, trippy and emotional ride. 311's most recent album Universal Pulse reached No. 1 on Billboard's Tastemaker Albums and Independent Albums charts.
With foresight and two decades of solid hits, 311 has turned the police code for streaking in Nebraska into an instantly recognized symbol for the meeting of ska, rap metal and jazz fusion. The band began in Omaha, Nebraska with Nick Hexum, Tim Mahoney, Chad Sexton, P-Nut and SA Martinez. The band went through several independent releases before signing with Capricorn Records in 1992. Their last album, in 2011, Universal Pulse, debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200. Since the introduction of their first album Music in 1993, 311 has released Grassroots, 311, Transistor, Soundsystem, From Chaos, Evolver, Don't Tread on Me, Uplifter and Universal Pulse. On every even-numbered year since 2000, the date 3/11 has meant the 3-11 Day Concert, when the band performs an extremely extended set. Fans who bought tickets to 3-11 Day in 2012 saw the band perform 79 songs over two days in Las Vegas. If you're looking for their 2014 album, it will be out on — you guessed it — March 11.
In the summer of 2019, 311 is touring with Dirty Heads for what they said will be a hybrid of "alternative sound and good vibes." The U.S. tour runs July 2-Aug. 20. They will be joined by pop trios Dreamers and Bikini Trill for all shows, with special guest performances by The Interrupters on all but six dates.

Once again my favorite band melted faces, so good to see them again.
This was the 16th time seeing 311, and they still rock the house like when I first saw them in '95. Here's to longevity, unity, and positivity!
I love the McGrath Amphitheater as a venue and the energy 311 brings is undeniable. I was introduced to AWOLNATION and Blame My Youth. I would go see both of those bands again. Thank You.
Great experience and would see 311 again at The Factory. Amazing facility and clean environment.
The Factory. Great venue with lots of potential. Beer prices way too high. Sound needs work. For 311 the vocals were way too low. Check with the Pageant. That sound man has it dialed in to perfection no matter who's on stage. 311.....love those boys to death, always will, but it's time to mix it up. 30th anniversary celebration should've started with one of many upbeat celebrations from Music. Love beautiful disaster but stop opening every damn show with it year after year. Bring the energy back, mix it up. Catalog is huge by now. MIX IT UP PLEASE. The show at The Pageant 4 years ago was the best I've seen in 25 years. The energy was there, sound was on point, set list was perfect.
Saw 311, AWOLNATION and Blame My Youth at The Factory in Chesterfield. It was a great show. Meeting 311 at the meet and greet was fantastic. 311's set was really awesome. They haven't lost a step in 30 years. Really great set list and appreciative of the fans. The place was packed with loyal 311 fans. At the meet and greet, they were cool, very friendly and walked around to talk to the 14 people that paid for the M&G. The Factory has a little patio with a firepit, picnic tables and an area for group photos. The band had about 10 minutes to walk around to each of us, shake hands, talk, etc. My only criticism is this happened 15 minutes before they went on stage so it felt a little rushed (never got a chance to talk to S.A! and they were already getting pushed for a group photo before I could talk to Nick). Could have been more relaxed if it was done a lot earlier like other meet and greets I have gone to (but not a big deal). VIP ticket holders had to arrive 3 hours earlier to get merch bag (cool autographed poster, trucker hat & 311 picks). And early entry was 15 minutes before the rest of the attendees. The Factory security got us back to our spots in the front center GA section since we had to leave towards the end of AWOLNATION's set for the meet and greet. The Factory and their staff are awesome too and I'm looking forward to future shows. And even though this is supposed to be for 311, go see Blame My Youth. They are great live!
First time I’ve seen 311 in 20 years and they are as good of better than ever. Great sounding live band and I’ve always loved that original sound of theirs.
What a great show! I had so much fun! Congrats on 33 years, guys! I saw you in Lincoln, NE way back when (Incubus as opening act) and have been to a few shows over the years. This is the second time I've seen you at Mystic Lake. Keep coming back to MN. The Midwest loves you. Your (grass) roots are here!
Good show as always. Although the sound system at THE FACTORY seemed to have issues.
Blame My Youth started the night of with a bang. First time seeing them and they were on point from start to finish! Awolnation are always an incredible band to see live! Finally, 311 continues to rock out after all these years!!! Was just a pleasurable night of music that I am glad I got to be a part of!
The boys from Omaha still got it. Worth every penny
Their self titled album was the first CD I ever bought, in 1995. I finally got to see them live 28 years later. They sounded exactly as I had hoped they would and played plenty of older songs along with a few newer ones. Energetic stage presence kept me engaged and you could feel the warmth of their presence. They appeared humbled by the full venue, just as I was humbled by their thankfulness. I hope they make another appearance in the future.
The production of the show was top notch. Mystic Showroom was really nice. My first visit there. Drink prices were fairly reasonable. The playlist was fairly common but with a few deeper cuts. Got to be honest, I would empty the wallet for a deep cuts tour. The last 3 tours have a very similar algorithm in the playlist. That said, they really bring it. Super pros that clearly love what they do. Well done, everyone.
311 was awesome. Awolnation should have been here but they have 1 good song anyway.
311 was absolutely amazing! The only thing I could have asked for was more of them. lol. I wish they had time to play longer. Entry was simple with barcodes from the ticket master app. Seats were affordable for the 3rd row. We had an awesome time!
Wow. I go to a lot of shows and 311 was one of the best of the long time. I saw them back in 1997 and again in 2002 and they have literally only gotten better with age. Get out there and then!
This app was super easy to use, secure tickets for the show, and easy to share a ticket with my group.
I loved the performance by 311, period. The other performances were lower than par, and you couldn't understand any of their music. A friend who loved the other two bands said it was their worst. The venue was the worst. Making it 21+ blocked all of the younger fans who would have loved to be there. Unfortunately, there were many empty seats, which was disappointing. A venue in Chicago for all ages would have been preferable.
311 always puts in a great show! Loved being able to see them and get close to them. Horseshoe venue is amazing and super intimate feeling.
I have been to over 30 311 shows and they are amazing! Consistently great performances! They play all the hits you would want to hear but also deeper cuts for their hard core fans. Love them!!
