    John Tesh

by FriendonFlute on 12/11/11Milwaukee Theatre - Milwaukee

I felt the concert had too many glitches for a premium show. Forgotten lyrics and wrong vocal entrances to name two. You could not hear the piano very well, which was too bad. The big band was absolutely the best part of the show. They were outstanding and knew their music well. John Tesh is a showman, but just wasn't as sharp as he should have been. I would prefer to be entertained, not wondering what will go wrong next, after paying for a full price ticket.

    John Tesh Christmas Concert

by Grafton on 12/11/11Milwaukee Theatre - Milwaukee

John put on a great Christmas Concert with his big band Christmas. I would highly recommend it if you have an opportunity to see it.

    not quite what I anticipated

by husbands on 12/11/11Milwaukee Theatre - Milwaukee

while the musicians were very talented and the music well performed, I think the show would have been better to have more singers. John Tesh was not a very strong singer.

    Not as promised

by 1Girlfriend on 3/27/11California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

Sadly disappointed. This was supposed to be a BIG BAND concert. One that I quote "would take you back to the 40s and 50s" John Tesh spent way too much time talking on the mic....waiting for Big Band music, I didn't appreciate the hip hop dancer....waiting for Big Band music.....don't get me wrong I believe in helping our veterans but I didn't want to hear a speech about it at the concert....still waiting for Big Band music, I truly admire John Tesh's wife for her generosity on volunteering but I didn't want to hear all about it because I was still waiting for Big Band music!!!! Ok he did play a few songs but I didn't pay to see a little girl dribble a ball......I felt it was a waste of our money and time. If an artist promises a certain type of genre then He better make sure that is what he plays. Way too much time wasted..........

John Tesh will blow your mind...

by Lantern2814 on 3/22/11California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

...then fill it with intelligence. The dynamics of the show were perfect. Transitioning from each song was a masterpiece, with John putting a comedy/ motivational show. I know that this concert was a life changing experience for me, and I would have trouble believing that other audience members didn't feel the same.

    Sunday in Raleigh was AWESOME!

by TeshRates10 on 10/13/10Progress Energy Center Meymandi Concert Hall - Raleigh

Where to begin? There isn't enough space to tell you how very much I enjoyed the concert! Every one of your musicians are in a class above the rest! The beautiful vocalist is a power house! After careful observation, I've determined that the only things on Breeze Lee that ISN'T double-jointed are his ears! (He should change his name to "Hurricaine!") And the lighting techs put on a show all by themselves! What a blast! It's been about 30 years since I went to a concert like your's, and it was just wondeful! I love the variety--from music that exploded into the auditorium, to the beautiful harmonies that brought me to tears. I've always been a fan, but having seen you in person now, and hearing you speak of your wife and children, and the ease with which you express your values, I now also love you to pieces! Thank you for allowing God to use you to bless and inspire others. Thank you for not being afraid to display your moral convictions. Thank Conchetta for all of us for encouraging you to reach for your dream! She done good! And now I know that the beautiful face I loved from the first time I saw her truly comes from her beautiful heart. May God richly bless you in your ministry, John, and may you continue to be an instrument for His kingdom! Please come back soon!!!

    John Tesh Amazing

by grayarm on 10/12/10Progress Energy Center Meymandi Concert Hall - Raleigh

This was one of the best concerts I have attended, My husband gave me the tickets for my birthday and it was the best money he could have spent. I was amazed at the talent displayed by everyone on stage. John Tesh was, as always, not a disappointment.. He was fantabulous. I only wish i could attend his next concert, but it is to far away from my home. I most definitely will attend the next one in this area. His choice of an opening act was just as amazing. Bill Leslie is also just as talented ands very entertaining in his on way. I would love to go to a concert of his when he has one. I am sorry for any one that did not attend because they missed the best afternoon they could have experienced in decades.

    Too much talking

by kbhr on 10/12/10Progress Energy Center Meymandi Concert Hall - Raleigh

I was expecting more music. There was way too much talking and inspirational messages. I felt at times like I was at a church revival. I definitely did not get $75 worth.

    John Tesh was Amazing!

by ConnieGayle on 10/12/10Progress Energy Center Meymandi Concert Hall - Raleigh

I wasn't sure what to expect from this concert, but it was more than I could have imagined. He performed many types of music: jazz, soft piano, hip hop, contemporary Christian, and music I don't have a name for.... My friend and I really enjoyed the concert. I appreciated John Tesh's talking with the audience and including the audience in the performance. I felt as though I was "jamming" with friends. The venue was not too big, so there was an intimate feeling to the concert that isn't found in larger venues. I would certainly attend another concert if he returns to this area. The only disappointment was not having a "program" (or even a biographical flyer) to review and to remember the concert with. I would loved to have known who the female vocalist was and something about the other band members as well.

    John Tesh - Great Show

by LCRALEIGH on 10/12/10Progress Energy Center Meymandi Concert Hall - Raleigh

This show was great!!! Such a variety. Liked the way he incorporated his "Intelligence for Life" into the show and how he added a personal side to it as well. I watched his UNCTV special showing his concert at the Red Rock. I was so glad he performed several of his Christian songs. He has a great story to tell - he definitely made the right decision to leave TV for music. I hope he schedules another concert in the Raleigh area again - I will be there.

    Awesome & Uplifting

by AccountantTim on 3/27/10Potawatomi Casino/Northern Lights Theater - Milwaukee

I loved the show. We saw you in St Louis at Christmas and agian in Milwaukee just a few weeks ago. I love your music and have enjoyed following you over the years. I beleive the first time I saw you was on the "Discovery" tour back in the early 90's. Thanks for sponsoring our non-profit here in Milwaukee. I can assure you that Rebuilding Together Greater Milwaukee is doing great things. It was great to meet you in person after the show. You are a great guy and have a great group of people on tour with you.

I received tickets as a Christmas gift from my son-in-law so this made it really special. He knew I listened to your radio show every morning on my way to work. IT WAS GREAT! We enjoyed the talent and "spirit" of the concert and appreciated the realistic, humanitarian focus. THANK YOU FOR BEING GENUINE!

    John Tesh was Wonderful!

by MaggieJean on 3/9/10Potawatomi Casino/Northern Lights Theater - Milwaukee

Rock ON ! I enjoyed the JohnTesh Concert at Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee, WI VERY much. The show was very entertaining. There was lots of variety interspersed with John's greatest hits. The female singer Chelsea added to the harmony with John. The drummer and two guitarist were fabulous. I enjoyed the times when John talked about his background, his family, and his former careers. I have enjoyed listening to his music for many years and was so pleased that he was close enough to attend the Concert. I told all my friends about what a wonderful experience it was for me. I do volunteer work at a local Assisted Living facility and could relate to his acts of kindness. It gives me such love to go once a week to play cards with elderly ladies. They enjoy it SO much and gives me great satisfaction. Thanks, John for a wonderful evening with YOU!
