    Worst seats ever!!

    by b. m. on 2/24/20Minskoff Theatre - New York

I attend theater often. Love pretty much everything I see, as I admirer the performing arts. Waited so long to see Lion King due to have a daughter with special needs , who was afraid of masks. Finally an opportunity arose and I took the chance . She was happy to see it. But said “ I couldn’t hear to well”. I thought it was me but from my seat I not only could not hear well the first act, but I couldn’t see! During the entire show I shifted from one side to the other to dodge the person in front of me . At no point during the show, I saw the entire stage . In a production like Lion King , that is an extreme disappointment. These seats should be deemed obstructed view, told they are under an overhang, not orchestra seats for $140. I know Broadway has gotten expensive but this is ridiculous. Orchestra Left Row R seat 15 in the absolutely worst seat I have ever had at a Broadway production. Waited so long to NOT get to see the show. Shame !

    Show is wonderful!

by Klemons on 2/18/20Minskoff Theatre - New York

I seen The Lion King over 10 years ago, but have always wanted to bring my husband to it as well. We were able to experience the show together and it did not disappoint! We loved the show, but wished the theater etiquette was a bit better. Those that showed up late (there were a lot this night) were able to use phone flashlights to locate seats and was really distracting. Other than that, the show was amazing!

    Roar

by W. on 2/18/20Minskoff Theatre - New York

The Lion King was all that I hoped it to be. It was the first time that my wife has seen the Broadway musical. She loved the experience. Except that we both noted how the volume for the first half was a bit low. At times the music accompanying the acting was louder than the actors themselves. We could hear the actors just noted that the volume could have been turned up.

This is my first time going to a play. I was very hesitant at first but I ended up getting tickets to take my wife for Valentine’s Day because she wanted to see it. I believe I enjoyed it more than she did. I seem the movie but I really think this brought it home for me I couldn’t stop talking about it. It was truly awesome ROOOOOOAR
