About

Jenny Lewis' fifth solo album, Joy'All, is out June 9th. Produced by Dave Cobb and recorded at the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville, Joy'All sees the highly anticipated return of one of the most compelling singer-songwriters of the 21st century embarking on a new era, in a new town--and on a new label, as she joins the iconic roster of Blue Note/Capitol Records. Heralded by the "strummy, beach bummy" (VULTURE) first single "Puppy and a Truck," and the subsequent "Psychos"- declared as "easily , one of Lewis' greatest creations" (PASTE)-Joy'All has already garnered a rapturous reception of critical acclaim: "four years on from her career-best On The Line, she's sounding better than ever." (PAPER). A culmination of Lewis' prolific 20+ year career, Joy'All follows her four previous solo albums --2019's On The Line, 2014's The Voyager , 2008's Acid Tongue  and her 2006 solo debut Rabbit Fur Coat--as well as her universally-loved work in Rilo Kiley and side projects Nice As Fuck, Jenny & Johnny, and The Postal Service. With no signs of slowing down for 2023, Jenny is ready to hit the road for an epic itinerary that includes both the upcoming 20th anniversary Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie co-headline tour as well as supporting dates for the Beck and Phoenix co-headline Summer Odyssey Tour, in addition to her own headlining dates in support of Joy'All.

    Utterly Fantastic Show

    by Bobloblaw77 on 5/24/19Moore Theatre - Seattle

My buddy and I really enjoyed the opener as well, but Jenny Lewis was the reason we got tickets, and she was as great as we thought. Her banter with the crowd was both pointed and amusing, and she sounded phenomenal. If you get a chance to see her--especially if you love her most recent album--definitely take the opportunity.

Great show at a great venue

by WadoBB on 4/3/19Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Jenny is a treasure. Amazing voice, very cool and an incredible stage presence. She made you feel like you were part of the show. I wasn't familiar with the Cactus Blossoms but they were awesome, very cool sound with amazing harmonies. I'd rather see this show in this venue than the biggest act in an arena any day.

Jenny is an amazing performer. A 10 out of 10!

by Barclay on 4/3/19Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

This has nothing to do with Jenny's performance, but the lighting was atrocious. An embarrassment for a performance at the Ryman.

    Amazing Jenny Lewis!!!

by Casper on 4/3/19Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Such an amazing show! The Cactus Blossoms were a great opener and will now be in my music rotation. Jenny was elegant in her sparkling dress. Her band played to perfection. The Watson Twins were a spectacular treat as well. The only downside was when Jenny asked for the stage to go dark so that the audience could light her sparkly dress with their phone flashlights and the lightboard op failed to comply because he either technically couldn't or was not allowed for her own safety since she was standing on a raised platform instead of just the stage itself. Other than that it was another awesome show at the Ryman, which has quickly become my favorite Nashville venue since moving here from Vegas last summer. Can't wait for more!

    Absolutely Spellbinding

I've always love JL, but could never have expected how much her live performance would completely blow away her fantastic albums. So inspired by seeing Jenny in person.

    Entertaining!

This was the third or fourth Jenny Lewis show we’ve seen. Her music and performances have always been at times fun, beautiful, and moving. This performance was no different.

    JENNY LEWIS GREAT SHOW

by Grtmusik on 7/16/18U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - Knoxville

Jenny still has a great show! Mix of old Rilo Kiley, Old solo, and some newer material. She’s passionate about music and her voice still makes my heart warm.

Jenny Lewis was out of this world

by RockMeAllNight on 9/12/16The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Amazing show, from start to finish. Great venue, the opening act (Cactus Blossoms) were fantastic, and Jenny never disappoints. From the entrance to the play list (so fun to hear Rabbit Fur Coat in its entirety) to the lovely Watson Twins, to Jenny's fantastic outfits...just a great show.

Jenny Lewis : With The Watson Twins

by AlexandSamantha on 9/9/16State Theatre - Minneapolis

The best concert I've ever been too! Seen her in Des Moines, Iowa in 2015. This concert was even better than the 2015 concert! First time hearing her with the Watson Twins. They are amazing too! And her warm up band was cool also. Looking forward to hearing her again. Great performance and voice! I hope the State Theatre will bring Jenny and The Watson Twins back. Great show!

My best friends always raved about Rilo Kiley. Some of my female friends rocked the Jenny Lewis Bangs 'Do. I finally saw her for the first time, one Saturday morning, perform "She's Not Me" on CBS. Loved it and bought tickets when she came to town. She's a "pro" in the best sense of the word. The Watson Twins were perfect. Her drummer was sick. She's an incredible lyricist. The crowd was scenester and not hipster (Thank God), including some of the most beautiful women I have seen in recent years. She attracts fun guests and gets them out on stage. Conor Oberst was wasted in a bad way, but Jenny handled it well. The "Rabbit Fur Coat" set was a nice segue into the trippier, up-tempo last set. She's doing what she was born to do.
