So exciting! We arrived at 3pm in time to hear Carolina Coalmine open. Wonderful, contemporary folk, bluegrass, country, local band. Alaska & Madie from The Voice kept you smiling with their angelic harmony. At first, I was worried because there was hardly no one there; the heat I guess. But as the afternoon wore on, the crowds began to show and the excitement rose. The Green Cards were incredible. I was in awe of the bass player! She was my age! Sierra Hull was delightful and oh so talented. The Gibson Brothers' harmony was right on. Then of course came Vince and the Time Jumpers. So much unbelievable talent in that band. Wildly entertaining! More importantly besides the entertainment, was the reason every one of us was there...to support the I'll Fly Away Foundation and what it stands for. Definitely looking forward to next year's event!!
