Sin City Sammy and his band are well worth the price of admission. A nice blend of Montrose, Sammy's solo stuff and a lot of Van Halen. Guitar player does a pretty decent Eddie. A fun show and if you like Sammy and/or Van Halen a must see!!!
Finally got to see this band!! Being a HUGE Sammy Hagar fan I was impressed. JC and the band are great. Awesome set list, they sing all the big hits. I would see them again for sure!!
This was a great tribute to an awesome rocker. The singer & band truly sounded like Sammy and all the various musicians who he recorded with. It was like listening to the albums again but seeing Sammy play. I'll be back to see these guys again.
Venue was lacking adequate air conditioning. Sin City Sammy's stage presence left a lot to be desired. He and the bass guitarist were constantly battling for space on the small stage. Sammy wore a shmedium t-shirt that emphasized his Dad-Bod. The bass guitarist wore hair extensions that nearly reached the floor. Only hampered her performance. For some odd reason there was a chubby female in hot pants who was badly in need of dental work gyrating in the background the whole time. Very distracting. Stage props really cheesy. Bottom of the barrel. Only bright spot was that the event started on time.
