Wavefest Tickets

Overall, the whole concert was great but there were apparent technical difficulties that each artist mentioned that they were dealing with. The break down & set up between each artist was too long and the concert lasted at least an hour longer than it should have. By the last act, during Roberta Flack's performance, people were getting up and leaving to the point where less than half the audience was left. Her performance was ok, a little disjointed and confused. She missed several notes but the notes she did hit were great! Macy Gray and Kem put on awesome performances and both were very entertaining. It was the first time I heard the E Family, they were ok, average.

Wavefest 2011 was a enjoyable event. Sheila E was great!!!! Macy Gray was a nice surprise ;-) KEM was the BEST!!!!WOW!!!!. I saw him years ago at The Kodak and It was nice to hear he has only gotten better. Roberta Flack was a flop. We left shortly after she came on stage. Overall the venue was GREAT!!!! the weather wasGREAT!!!! and oh did I mention KEM was the BEST!!!! :-)

I liked and enjoyed everyone who performed...Macy Gray was funny and cute...Kem was romantic and honest...Roberta Flack was smooth and gracious.. Sheila E. and family were exciting,upIifting and inspirational...This was a really good show....Please have this again...

I purchased the tickets because I got the 4 for the price of 3 deal. Also, I made the decision based on Sheila E. (and family) and Kem. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of Macy Gray and Roberta Flack. It was a really good concert! I have attended many WaveFest concerts, and since the line-up for this one was very different from past WaveFest concerts, I was skeptical. Also, the fact that it was cut down to only one night of performance was surprising. But, all-in-all, it was a very enjoyable concert. I took my 85 year old mother and 2 friends, and I saw mother's there with their young sons, and a good time was had by all.

The overall atmosphere was very pleasant. I surprised my wife for her birthday and the entire experience was great. Our seats were fantastic! The crowd was mature and fun. I can't wait to do it again. Clean bathrooms were a big plus! I really enjoyed the Greek Theatre! Hope to see you real soon. EyeCee

Lovec Sheila E and and E Family. Macy Gray was terrific ... Her new 'glad you came' song is fab. Her singers were amazing - shame on the engineers to not have resolved the terrible echo. KEM was awful. Dreadfully terrible with no imagination and stereotypical lyrics about Baby here Baby there Girl here Girl there and God is great throughout ... Yikes. Roberta Flack is a star performer. Cut KEM and fix the sound and you have a fantastic show

Kem was outstanding ! His sound, his look , his every move, his interaction with the audience.... everything was SUPERB !!! My only regret with Kem is that it wasn't longer. That all white outfit , the white hat and the white LV shoes.... was the man trying to take me to Heaven ? Kem please come back to Southern California and do a concert with you as the Headliner. We deserve it ! We'll be good, we won't rush the stage.

Great venue and exciting artist lineup was squelched by technical sound difficulties. Each of the artists had some sort of issue with the sound. Flexible audience still made the atmosphere a fun environment to be a part of.

Great venue, Great mix of talent, Perfect weather for an outdoor venue. I’m very glad that I didn’t leave, as I almost did, when Macy Gray’s sound set up was so bad that it was impossible to hear from the front rows. When she wrapped up, the problem went away and the Kem and Roberta shows where outstanding.

The whole program was awesome. You did it again WAVE! Keep up the amazing job you're doing!!!
