We brought kids ranging from 11 to 7 and every one of them had a wonderful time! There was even plenty of adult humor to keep everyone entertained! Highly recommend this play! Loved the energy!
Took my boys to go see "Twas the Night Before Christmas" the Sunday after Thanksgiving to kickoff the Christmas season. It was a great little play! We loved the modern day take on the story. They really did a wonderful job with the small cast and small stage. There was some audience involvement that my kids loved (and mom did too.) I would definitely recommend taking the kids to see this play.
Visiting grandparents took son and family. Wonderful treat.
We thought it was less than High School type performance. Sound was also way to loud. Just not what I expected for Chicago.
The twist on the original version was clever and fun! The actors were talented and energetic and engaged the audience perfectly. The length of time held the audience's attention and the sing along ending songs were sensitive to all. Highly recommend!
Very well done. The actors are very engaging and do a really nice job. It is a perfect way to get into the Holiday mood. My ten year old loved it; my almost twelve year old probably did, however, definitely at the top of the age range.
I took my 7 year old grandson and he loved it. I would definitely recommend.
I love Emerald City Theater and have brought my kids to lots of their shows, but this one was definitely not my favorite. Having said that, my daughter (and all the kids, it seemed!) thought it was hilarious and had a great time, so that is really what matters. I was disappointed the show doesn't follow the book's storyline (nor does it really make any sense at all). But again, my daughter loved it. And the actors were very animated and funny.
