The Wizard of Oz (Chicago) Tickets

Hard classic to bring to the stage. Special effects with video helped a lot. Not sure I would spend the high ticket price to see it

There were nine of us that went to see The Wizard of Oz - five adults and four children and we all loved it. Everything from the music, special effects and sets were outstanding. It is a great musical for all ages!!!

Outstanding performance. I took my 21 yr old daughter to the performance as a graduation gift. We had a great time. Very reasonably priced for our seats as well

My mom's favorite movie is the Wizard of Oz and I thought it would be special to take her to this broadway show. It was perfect that it was over Mother's Day weekend. The show was just wonderful and my mom even shed a tear at the end! It was very special and I recommend the show to anybody!

Fantastic show; all of the great classic songs done beautifully and the new musical numbers fit right in. The set design and costumes are a feast for the eyes. Scarecrow's "brainless" lines had us laughing out loud. Definitely worth the money.

The performance was excellent, but it was often difficult to understand the dialogue from Row M in the balcony. My 9 year old grandson lobed the show.

very Good production! First half a little long . No how many words my words listed her are, the first two sentences sums it up. it was very good.

The set designs were flat as were the lion, tin man and scarecrow. About the only thing cute about the show was Toto.

overall average show, nothing that makes it memorable or special. Have seen much better productions done at non-Broadway theaters

Great show, loved it, this has been my favorite movie as a child and to see it on stage was just topping on the cake. The set design was spectaular - tornado scene, great idea! Toto - perfect!

The music is fantastic, the actors are wonderful and the scenery is unforgettable. Congratulations.

Production very true to movie with just the right amount of modern flair. Staging was excellent especially the tornados. All characters on the mark with great vocals. Two young children were transfixed the entire show.

Went to see the play with my husband. He is not a big musical lover but this blew him away. The actors were amazing and so energetic. The scene changes were smooth and flawless - I work backstage and I look for things. The costumes trully brought out each character played. The special effects added to the show , they didn't take away. We both loved it and it made our anniversary celebration wonderful. Thanks to all the cast and crew for the hard work they must have put in to make this so spectacular.

Absolutely wonderful performance!! I took my 34 Year old daughter as a birthday gift because Wizard of Oz was her favorite movie as a child. She was so thrilled by the entire musical -- I watched her eyes gleam and her constant smile throughout! Everything was magical. The story line was true to form, but the modern technology features were awesome, as were the costumes and performers! I would go again and absolutely recommend this for "kids" of all ages!

I loved watching the Wizard of Oz as a kid and this production did a wonderful job of following the movie. The special effects were awesome. They enhanced the role of the Wicked Witch of the West. She was great. I had a difficult time hearing the individual voices at the beginning of the show but it got better. Toto was perfect. The costumes, sets, music, singing, special effects were all great. Definitely would recommend this show for children of all ages.

At first i was not excepting much from the play, but as the show progressed it was simply amazing. It was funny, charming, professional, detailed, and very very very well done! The main character Dorthy is simply to be admired.
