About

The Smashing Pumpkins are one of the most influential alt-rock bands of the ā€™90s. Billy Corgan formed the band in 1988 with guitarist James Iha. In the 1990s alone, the band released classic albums like the four-time platinum Siamese Dream (1993) ā€” which was ranked by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest albums of all time ā€” and the double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (1995), which debuted at No.1 on Billboard 200 and produced hit singles like ā€œ1979ā€ and ā€œTonight, Tonight.ā€ The Smashing Pumpkins have toured with acts like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Guns Nā€™ Roses. Theyā€™ve made guest appearances on The Simpsons, won two GRAMMY Awards and have sold over 30 million albums.Ā

Wonderful experience, soiled by extreme weather

    by Lili on 2/11/24

Went to see Smashing Pumpkins at Pine Knob, wonderful experience for a first concert. Even if I did see a guy get carted away by the cops, and the show had to end early because of an extreme thunderstorm, I would do it again. Tickets to see Smashing Pumpkins was one of the best birthday presents I've ever received.

    Like the new music!

by Ace Razor on 12/7/23Toyota Amphitheatre - Wheatland

The Smashing Pumpkins were great in concert. And the Toyota Ampitheater is a great venue. I love catching concerts there. Keep up the good work. Not a bad seat in the house and the lawn is a great value.

2nd time, but rain cut short

by rograbt on 10/3/23Pine Knob Music Theatre - Clarkston

This was the 2nd time seeing the band. Billy even mentioned it during the show that the last time they played the venue was back in 1995 during Lollapalooza (the first time I saw them). We were jamming along and then of course out of nowhere a thunderstorm rolled in and the outdoor venue cut the show short. Based on the setlist, we were 6 songs short of what the band had been performing for The World is a Vampire tour. We were drenched on the ride home, but have already vowed when they return to Michigan, we will be there to get a full show.

    Smashing šŸŽƒ

by Jenn on 9/22/23Ruoff Music Center - Noblesville

AMAZING show! Billy Corganā€™s vocals sounded just like I was listening to a CD from the 90ā€™s! Bonus! He acknowledged his band AND brought out wrestlers from the company heā€™s affiliated with. That was SO unexpected but so much fun!

    Loud

by Kiel on 9/20/23PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel

While Iā€™ve loved the band since childhood and now have a child who enjoys them alsoā€¦it was my kinā€™s first SP show and it was beyond LOUD! Weā€™ve been to many shows at the Arts Center and this was eardrum death. We had seats and I recommend seats for all shows. The lawn is bot what it once was and always seems oversold.

    Greatest Concert Of My Life

    by Z! on 9/17/23FirstBank Amphitheater - Franklin

I've been into the Pumpkins since the 9th grade when they came out with their first album Gish in 1991. I have seen them live a handful of times, but this time was different. I got there early so I would have a spot in the pit. I met some cool people in my trip to the barricade. I couldn't believe it. I was front row!!!! The Pumpkins did not disappoint. The lights were amazing, the sound was perfect, and the showmanship was impeccable. I caught a pick, got a setlist, and my friend met David Arquette at the snack bar. The band played for an hour and a half . I honestly didn't want it to be over as hot and sweaty as I was. I would follow this band around the country if I could afford it. Billy Corgan was looming over me, Jimmy Chamberlain's drums were like a bore sized drill going through my skull, James Iha's antics were great, I couldn't stop smiling, and his solos were epic! This show is one for the books!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!
