The Fogcutters Tickets

Love the big band musicians!!! Sometimes their sound was too big and drowned out the singer(s). Great to hear original Christmas songs and creative interpretations of traditional Christmas songs! Was hard to understand the words with some musicians - due to position of the mic or the acoustics in the State Theater? A printed or electronic program would have been helpful so we could know the names of musicians and singers to follow beyond that show. Would have been nice to have encore include the band not just a singer - we were there to hear The Fogcutters after all.

The Fogcutters Christmas Extravaganza was Fabulous!

This is an extremely talented group of players. The problem was that the band overpowered the singers for almost every selection. Only selections using just a few instruments allowed us to hear the singers. We would recommend no amplification on any of the brass or woodwind instruments and light amplification on the keyboards and guitars

It was fantastic! Best thing about it was it was a whole family type event. Wholesome fun.

The Fogcutters Christmas show was fantastic! The musicians were all extraordinary and dressed in festive attire. Singers were outstanding. It was the perfect holiday show and they kept the audience dancing

So much fun! Absolutely an incredible show full of great music and so much cheer.

We have enjoyed the State Theatre for prior concerts. Great staff experience with entering, security, reception. This Fogcutter event was “General Admission”. Now we know how different this is from a “seated” concert. With GA audience standing blocks seated views. More of the audience are walking around or talking at the bar in the auditorium. For us this was highly distracting to the performance experience. Now we know.

concert was great, except for the venue. The state theatre has seating, plus standing areas in front of the stage and in front of the seating areas. so all the people who got there early to get a good seat could not see because of all the standing people. and the standing areas near the bars were very noisy, people talking and laughing. we thought it was very disrespectful to the performers. we will not be attending any other concertts at the state theatre.

I don’t remember the last time I had that much fun at a holiday show. The vocals are unmatched! Only problem is that it didn’t go on all night! Loved it!
