The Charlotte Symphony is a city treasure!! I attended Beauty and The Beast - the film accompanied by the symphony and it was SUPERB!! Took my grandchildren and they loved it! What a wonderful way to develop music appreciation! Charlotte Symphony- you rock!!!

Our granddaughters enjoyed their first ever Charlotte symphony evening at the theatre!!! They were spellbound by the movie screen and enjoyed the symphony accompaniment. It was a wonderful introduction for children!!! They also enjoyed meeting Belle during the intermission!!!

I have been a long-time fan of the Charlotte Symphony, but this was the first time I attended a performance in their movie series. My college-aged son and I went to see Beauty and the Beast this weekend, and it was amazing! So cool to see how a movie soundtrack looks in real life — it was incredible how the conductor managed to hit the timing exactly right — and having the live symphony significantly magnified our enjoyment of the movie, really amplified the emotional impact. I just sat there smiling through the whole thing. Highly recommend!
This was a wonderful family, interactive, engaging, feel good experience! The orchestra was absolutely amazing! The conductor was dressed up like Buddy the Elf. There wasn't a bad seat in the venue - could see and hear very well the performance. We had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!
Too many rule, what size purse you may bring, must use mobile tickets etc.

This venue is in desparate need of renovation. The seats are uncomfortable and cramped and have been for years. We thoroughly enjoyed the CSO accompanying the movie, but left with a negative impression due to our physical discomfort. The staff is pleasant and professional. We would go to many more events at Ovens if they upgraded the facilities.
The whole family really loved the movie experience!
