The Rodgers and Hammerstein event was fabulous! The music was of course excellent, the film clips they showed were great, but most of all the commentary by the commentator from Turner Classic Movies, was excellent! Added so much to the evening.
The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Rodgers & Hammerstein music and movies; great audience; and lastly ,but certainly not least, Turner Classic Movie Host Robert Osborne.... All around it was a classy and magical night.
What fun to be reminded of those unique productions. We had seen most of the films and had never seen them presented as they were at the Bowl. Refreshing entertainment that is missing today. Will probably rent the DVDs.

What a lovely evening at the Bowl! Impressive how they synced the movie clips to the orchestra. Thank you for at least letting us sing along at the very end - I was almost ready to burst!
WE loved the BIg Picture at the Hollywood Bowl. Even the teenagers who didn't remember the movies enjoyed it. Thank you for a great family event.
Wow! I don't get to see the LA Phil or go to the Hollywood Bowl as often as I'd like, but what a great show!! My wife and I attend one or two shows a season and we've never been disappointed and doubt that we ever will. The Rodgers and Hammerstein movie/musicals evening was thouroughly entertaining!!
What a wonderful and excellent movies!!! Brings tears and joy! Just love it!!!
The music was amazing, the narration was very informative, a very very fun time. Will do it again that's for sure.
