I enjoyed the show. Although Steve may not sound exactly like an Elvis impersonator, and he may have his comedic moments, the songs he sang were a great tribute to Elvis. He got the audience involved. He also wore outfits that made you say that is what Elvis wore. He has a great appreciation of Elvis and tried his best to provide his audience with the tribute and memories of Elvis.
Of course Steve is not Elvis but his an amazing Elvis impersonator. The theatre is very simple but we had a great time.
This Elvis Tribute was anything but. Steve Connolly didn't even sound like Elvis, not even close. He also kept repeating himself, so much so, that I thought he might have been drunk or high. He also gave Elvis a few different weird tics, that I know the King never had.The timing of the show was horrific. What a waste of money. If I could, I'd like my money back. At the start of the show, the place was packed. Half way through, people were streaming out of the venue - no matter what age - they were leaving in droves. By the end of the show less than half the audience was still there.
The show was just mediocre at best. The M Hotel/Casino is beautiful, but the venue for the show didn't live up to the class of the Hotel/Casino. Very disappointed.
It was a blast and Steve has a good sense of humor. i love his combination of clear Elvis chatter with the audience, mixed with slurs as Elvis got more into drugs.
all the songs were exactly as Elvis would have sang and how he would have portrayed his infamous movements - it was like Steve he had an aerobic exersize on stage, he was amazing... the band was great too!!
I WAS PRETTY DISAPPOINTED AT THE PERFORMANCE I HAVE PAID LESS FOR MANY OTHER EVENTS THAT WERE MUCH BETTER, I WANTED TO SEE A GOOD MUSIC PERFORMANCE AND QUITE FRANKLY IT WAS MORE LIKE A COMEDY ACT.REVEIWS SAID HE WAS THE BEST ELVIS IMP. THERE IS THANK GOD I DID NOT TRAVEL TO VEGAS TO SEE HIM. I AM VERY SAD TO REPORT TO YOU OVERALL I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AND ASHAMED THAT I SPENT $118.00 ON THEM TICKETS.SORRY
Steve Connolly was all+++ what we expected. He maintains the Spirit Of Elvis like no other. His voice was top notch and the outfits made one think they were sitting at The Kings performances at Caesar's Palace. Plan on seeing him next time in am in LV. Well worth fighting the snow to get in town to see this show.
