What a hilariously funny show! There was a lot of wordplay, and so many clever references to older shows, plays and musicals. I spent most of the show laughing out loud with those around me! I had been looking forward to seeing this since the show was advertised, and was so happy that I'd bought the ticket.
Fantastic show. The tongue in cheek humor and wit of the writers is woven beautifully throughout this show. Those with some base exposure to Shakespeare & Musical Theatre will get an even larger kick out of it. The music is well written and offers everything you would expect from a Broadway Show! Dance numbers are high energy and leave you wanting more. Wonderful evening of entertainment and humor offered up by a talented and energetic company!
The show was fantastic! The voices and acting were top notch. The show its self is hysterical. I have never been in an audience that was so into the show. We went with our 16 year old who loved it too. There are a lot of sexual innuendoes, but it didn't seem to bother the younger audience members

From the singing to the dancing to the great writing, this was non stop entertainment. I laughed so hard I cried.
Overall an enjoyable experience. The humor, music, and story were exceptional.

Something Rotten was totally a delight! It was so clever, utterly entertaining and laugh out loud funny. I was in a bad mood before I went to see it, and the play completely cheered me up from the minute it started.

Something Rotten was hysterically funny. My cheeks hurt from laughing so much. You had to listen closely to even "get' all the references to other musicals and quotes from Shakespeare. The creative minds that wrote this musical are in a class all their own. The actors were just so great with their timing, facial expressions, and costumes. I would gladly see it again and probably catch so many things that I may have missed the first time.
This musical comedy was awesome! We had a great time! The actors were superb! Our group consisted of teens, twenties, and fifties and we all loved it! Our seats were great!(Row O, Seats 17-25).

This show surprised me with how jam-packed full of both Shakespeare and musical references it was. There were several times during the show where I had laughed myself to tears.
