    Shatner is real

by Anonymous on 2/20/16Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Shatner's show was like a walk down memory lane, reminiscing about his entire life, his career, his loves. It was funny at times, and poignant as well. Anyone who is a fan of this larger than life man will enjoy this. He ends the show performing his song "I'm Real" written by Brad Paisley... And while there's a part of me, in that guy you've seen Up there on that screen, I am so much more And I wish I knew the things you think I do I would change this world for sure But I eat and sleep and breathe and bleed and feel Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm real Read more: William Shatner - Real Lyrics | MetroLyrics

    Shatner'.s World

by SarajaneL on 2/1/16Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Wish I had known how much I would enjoy his show. I would have tried to bring more friends. He was amazing! Lookin' good too. I loved the delivery and he was so funny. I loved the interjected films of his past shows.

    Nonstop, high energy, funny Shatner!

by Rebtrek on 1/31/16Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Yes, I am a Shatner fan. And he delivered. He is the hardest working man in show biz--two straight hours non-stop, with plenty of laughs and applause. See it if you can. BTW, buy VIP tickets if you wish to do a Q&A with him afterwards.

    Shatner is the man!

by Tribbleman on 1/31/16Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Great show! Entertaining from start to finish. Sometimes I couldn't tell if the stories were real or made up to get a laugh, but it didn't matter, it was great fun. Loved hearing about Captain Kirk's life from the man himself.

    Really entertaining, and memorable.....

by NaturalSkincarelover on 1/31/16Balboa Theatre - San Diego

A Great show! I grew up watching the Star Trek reruns in the UK, and now thanks to Amazon video my family is also part of the new generation of fans! William Shatner was always my absolute favorite, and I'm so pleased he didn't disappoint! He was great in his one man show! Funny, interesting and entertaining stories packed every minute, but what was the best? The fact that he really is the lovely, caring, genuine man I hoped I would discover...what we would call a 'bloody nice bloke' in England! Go and see his show, it's a memorable and very fun evening I'm sure you will enjoy.

The human side of Captain Kirk

by JayeFR on 1/31/16Balboa Theatre - San Diego

I grew up watching Star Trek as a child, the original series. I'm really glad I took this opportunity to get to know the man behind Captain Kirk. He's really a wonderful human being, with a big heart, who doesn't take himself too seriously. He's happy to laugh at himself, and he's happy when other people laugh at him or with him. He loves horses, which I didn't know before seeing the show. And the stories about his childhood and how he got into acting are all very interesting. He's also fun to watch on stage. I really loved the show, and I'm so glad I went.

    Great Experience! Shatner excelled

by frederico77 on 1/30/16Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

This was my first trip to The Rialto! It is a gem to visit - what a great venue. Everything from the lobby to the people just shown with class and warmth. The show was simply staged - perfect for the vitality and charisma that Shatner displayed during his whole show. His humor and life story were perfectly blended that kept me engaged throughout his whole show - wish I purchased the VIP package for the meet and greet afterward!
