This play was truly a blessing. I laughed and cried.
The Solo voices were outstanding, especially Bernadine Mitcchell. I really enjoyed all of the cast.
I really enjoyed the musical play. There was laughter and soul touching songs. It should be seen by all.
Good play, during revival a person should have been saved
My wife and I saw Sanctified this past weekend, and we say "Hats off" to the entire cast. It was a very heartwarming musical comedy suitable for adults and teenagers. Aside from the wonderful choral singing, each performer was given a chance throughout the play to highlight their own individual talents. We are so happy we decided to see this show!!!
It was quite expensive for this type of amateur show. It was a good plot but there was too much talking and not enough acting. I mean that by saying it was so conversational like people sitting around talking. Also, it took a long time to get to the point of the plot like they were stalling. However, the singing was very nice. This show has potential.
the only down side to this play was the acoustics/sound. sometimes you couldn't really hear what the performers was saying. overall the play was inspirational and uplifting. each performer held there own. the music moved you and the stories were touching. sanctified is a must see.
Went to the play with my boyfriend as an anniversary outing. We really enjoyed this play, it made us laugh. We both loved Bobby, I know he had to be tired of holding his hand up like that. It was full of great singing.
It took a second to realize who/what Sir and Mister were, but the story line itself waw on point! The singing was phenomenal and the actors were great. You would not have known who the newcomers were if you hadn't already read about them. I would definitly go and see this play again.
Simply spectacular! The over performance was wonderful. Mary Millben was wonderful loved the clothes sister. Ellis Foster great character and funny.
