    I had an 'Amazing' experience watching my favorite the god Mc/Rapper Rakim give a heck of a performance. I had a wonderful time. I hadn't seen him perform since 1988. Yes it's been a long time. All the performances were great Chuck d, Slick rick sounded like they did 35 years ago. The poets, the sister rapping was dope as well. Ms Jones was also a good host. 10 out of 10 Amazing Experience!     NJPAC is always a joy when artist Like Rakim is in the building.. The night was live and amazing. Rakim had a master plan, Slick Rick rocked the house and Chuck D shut it down. 😍

    It was my 1st time at NJPAC and the event was awesome!!! The poets and dancers phenomenal.. The Old School Rakim, Chuck D and Slick Rick brought back so many memories of love and the way it was before now.. Just reminiscing.. it was great and so bittersweet. Keep it coming!!! lol

    I am not a fan of rap. I love all writing including poetry. So I decided to step outside my comfort zone. I am probably alone in this, but I was most impressed with the work by Tyehimba Jess. In fact I have done several searches (without success) in an effort to acquire a copy. If you could help me do that, I would greatly appreciate the assistance. Thanks.

    Everyone was great! Doug E Fresh ( is one of my favorites!!! especially now ( lol), Slick Rick was awesome too, and the GOD Rakim still has it!!! They ALL do one of the BEST CONCERTS I have attended!! Up there with Gladis Knight & Jeffrey Osborne!!! This is saying alot!!

    I love doug e fresh set and when he brung out artist and show case his beatbox skills the dj he had was on point with the hits and slick Rick kept it hype .However the main event was Rakim his set was boring! Most people sat down ,it was like listening to his songs on cassette tapes ! I was yarning and he didn't have much stage performance and the songs he chose he could have kept! Towards the last 30mins he did the cuts that made him money ,but by that time I was ready to go ! I wanted more of Doug e Fresh tho !

    This entire show was so dope & nostalgic!!! I had an amazing time!! Doug E. Fresh & Slick Rick were amazing. Rakim ripped and wrecked the mic as expected with a clean crisp unadulterated lyrical flow and performance!!! 10/10 RECOMMEND!!
