The music, the dancing, the showmanship were spectaclar. Most impressive and best of all they remembered Jesus Christ and included in the performance The Nativity which is the Reason for the Season.
Getting into the theater was a nightmare. They need a better system. Please arrive early. The show itself was amazing. Very talented performers. Puts you in the holiday spirit.
Christmas Spectacular - MUST SEE! One of the best shows I've ever seen!
This was my second time attending the Christmas Spectacular and I enjoyed it as much as the first time I saw it! The show was incredible! The music, the singing, and the synchronized performance by the Rockettes was on point! My grandson (2 1/2 years old), enjoyed the whole show! My favorite part of the show was the Nativity Scene performance -especially when the camel, sheep, and donkey walked across the stage along with the Wise men and their people! I highly recommend this show to those who want to get into the Christmas Spirit!
Amazing experience! One of the best dancers I have ever seen! They made my Christmas holidays better!
For the high price per ticket paid for main floor seating, there were way too many guests allowed in after closed doors/event start. This caused major visual impairment and enjoyment interruptions as people stood in the aisle looking for their seats, seat jumpers caught and escorted elsewhere, late attendees, etc. that it was difficult to enjoy the show that I saved for a long time to see. It clearly states online and posted throughout the lobby that once doors are closed, any tardy seating would be done between sets. That was not the case. I don't care if the theater was short-staffed, or dealing with the holiday crowds, again for the price of $149.00 per person, I would expect to see the show mostly non-interrupted. This up/down - back/forth happened throughout the entire event. A nice family next to us from S. Dakota complained as well. We were from Michigan. This lowered my lifelong expectations of watching the Rockettes, my dream from stories of my grandmother long ago.
My husband and I went to the Rockettes show on Friday, December 29th, 2023. It was an iconic show that did not disappoint! Both my husband and I enjoyed it from the very beginning with the organ players while people were sitting, to the explosive and enjoyable finale. We sat in Mezzanine 4, which is center stage. The seats were quite comfortable and the theater itself is breathtaking. We took many smiling selfies to share with family and friends. I could not believe how lovely the theater was. But the show itself brought us so much to see. The costumes, the lighting, the talent...it's all so amazing! There was never a dull moment as it moved from skit to skit, dance to dance. It was so much more that just a line of women kicking high, although that was just jaw-dropping to witness. Seeing the Rockets in Radio City Music Hall was a personal bucket list item for me. I am thrilled that I got to enjoy this show and check that off my list! I would love to go back next year with my granddaughter. I would love to go back anytime with nieces, friends, family. I wish every family could enjoy this show! If you have the means and the opportunity, just do it.
Our seats were behind the sound box. Both me and my 5 yr old could not see the show. I would never recommend these seats to anyone who wants to see the Rockettes perform. Complete waste of money.
I bought pretty expensive tickets, row NN, Total of $342.00, to be close to the front and enjoy the show. I was celebrating my birthday which was on Dec 18th. After the show started, other guests started to come late, large and small groups every five minutes. Every time, the ushers came asking us for our seat numbers and to show it to them. This went on and on for 40 minutes. Our entire row and the guest behind us were extremely upset. I finally told the ushers that their behavior was not acceptable and that we have purchased expensive tickets to enjoy Xmas day. Not even an apology. After all these interruptions, we were so upset that we could not enjoy the show. I did not want to take the rest of the afternoon to get a supervisor to complain. I called Ticketmaster's to request reimbursement. I was told that they WERE NOT responsible for what happened inside the show. Extremely distressed experience.
