Dimitri is a world class baritone who puts amazing emotion into his music. If you ever get a chance to see him GO GO GO!!! The orpheum is a beautiful setting as well. love the old style architecture.

by judilch on 1/12/12Orpheum Theatre - PhoenixStupendous! How wonderful that the Phoenix Opera hosted an event with the caliber as this! I can't use enough superlatives to describe the performance; the program was wellchosen and a nice variety of pieces. We are so lucky that Mr. H came to Phoenix!

I was lucky to be able to see this once in a lifetime performance. DH was magnificent! I hope he will be back in AZ soon, wearing the black Stetson that was presented to him. He seemed to enjoy every minute on stage - and the audience was in love! Wish I could have taken a pictures (not allowed.)

The stage settings were extremely well-done and the chorus was spot-on. The performance, music and theatre were outstanding. Thank you Mr. Verdi!!!
