Pearl Jam is an alternative rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band's lineup consists of bassist Jeff Ament, rhythm guitarist Stone Gossard, lead guitarist Mike McCready, lead singer/guitarist Eddie Vedder and drummer Matt Cameron. Thirty-plus years of live performances, twelve studio albums and hundreds of official live concert bootleg releases later, Pearl Jam continues to be critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The band has sold over 85 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. Pearl Jam's new album, Dark Matter, is out April 19, 2024. Since the earliest days, Pearl Jam has used its platform to elevate people and causes that often go unnoticed or underserved. Much of the band’s philanthropic work is accomplished through its Vitalogy Foundation which to date has raised more than $50 million for organizations supporting issues such as abortion access, climate change and homelessness, and drawing attention to the fight against diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis and epidermolysis bullosa (EB). In addition to the money Vitalogy donates, the band also donates signed instruments, posters and merchandise to organizations to use for their own fundraising purposes. Compounding the impact of Vitalogy Foundation, the band has supported Jeff Ament’s Montana Pool Service in building skate parks in Montana and South Dakota. Pearl Jam also lends its voice to notable causes like the West Memphis 3, voting rights and fair ticketing practices. Over the past three decades, the band has a long history of standing up for what it believes in and putting its resources behind those beliefs. Through its innovative Ten Club and fan engagement, community building, coveted poster designs, and longstanding activism and philanthropy, Pearl Jam continues to have a lasting impact on generations of music lovers.

This was, quite simply, one of the best concerts I have ever witnessed. Pearl Jam was incredible, from the sound to the interaction and engagement with the thousands of fans to the setlist variety. The Rogers Arena staff was very courteous and polite. I needed help for a couple of things and everyone I encountered was just fabulous. If I have one complaint, it's that not all concession stands, bars and restaurants were open that night. I wanted a better selection of craft beer and food but that just wasn't meant to be.
This was my 6th or 7th time seeing PJ live and they’ve never disappointed! When most bands are charging similar rates for tickets and playing for half the time…I choose PJ every time when I know I’ll get a 3 hour show! Hope they make it back to Vancouver again soon!!!
A whiz-bang performance by Pearl Jam (my 1st PJ concert) and usual flawless execution by Ticketmaster AND fans weren't gouged! I paid a very reasonable price and definitely got my money's worth. PJ played for over 2½ hours delighting their (May 6, 2024) audience — a fabulous evening's entertainment and worth the trip from Central Vanvouver Island. After following them since "Alive", a whopping 33 years ago, I wonder now why I waited so long? A big TEN to Pearl Jam.
I was disappointed with the concert. The reason is that they did not play very many of their older classic songs; only played about 4. Those songs are the reason we spent $800.00 on a hotel traveled 5 hours each way and paid over $200.00 per ticket for nosebleed seats. I realize they are trying to promote their new album and want to play all their new songs; so play those as well. But come on everyone wants to hear all the kick-ass classic songs that Pearl Jam has.
The minute I walked into the arena, I could feel such positive vibes. The crowd was so friendly and fun. Pearl Jam totally exceeded my expectations. I've been waiting to see them since I was a teenager and they sure did not disappoint! I didn't want the show to end. I will definitely see them again as soon as possible!
Pearl Jam definitely delivered in their May 6 show at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. They played some awesome tunes from their new record, including the title track of the new tour Dark Matter which kicks.. well you know. The crowd was electric when the played the classic favorites like Evenflow and Better Man and Jeremy. All in all a great show, but glad I had some ear plugs as it was LOUD!
I waited 30 years to see my favourite band and it was amazing. Super impressive sound quality. Played a bunch of the new album, was fantastic. Ed and the band made it feel like an evening with family, they seems as excited to be there as I was, simply remarkable. I think it may end up being my single best life experience ever. Extremely grateful ❤️
Thoroughly enjoyed myself at this show. Pearl Jam really delivered! great selection of old and new. My voice is still gone from screaming and yelling so much!! THANKS PJ!
Haven't seen Pearl Jam in 31 years. They are still as awesome as they were back then.
