Great dancing! If you have the chance to see it during its last week, it's well worth the effort to get tickets. Great voices from the male and female leads, too!
We went to see Newsies on our daughter 14th birthday as she wished. We really enjoyed it. It was a great musical. Very talented players. Great entertainment!
Awesome show!! High energy, great acting, and just plain fun!! Would definitely go again! The only issue we had was that there was NO leg room at that theatre! I'm only 5'5" and it was tough on my knees to be bent that much.
Newsies was a beautifully staged and choreographed show. Actors were "in the moment" and convincing. Could not have asked for a more satisfying theatre spectacle!

Great show, just go! Brought my 7 and 9 year old niece and nephew, they loved it and so did I. The cast came out afterwords and signed autographs and took pictures with the audience, a very special experience.
When I heard Newsies was closing, I had to go see it a second time. Great story, great singing, great acting. But the DANCING is the most amazing I've ever seen! I don't know how those guys do it! Thanks to all for outstanding entertainment. You should all feel very proud. I know the show will do great on the road and be around somewhere forever.
Always wanted to see Newsies and never got around to it. Heard it was closing and decided to get tickets. It was such a great show for all ages. Full of energy and a great don't give up story line. Paid full price for the tickets in orchestra but it was well worth it Go see it if you can!
I went to Newsies the other night with my 14 year old granddaughter. It was her first Broadway musical, and she loved, loved, loved it. On my end, though I loved her excitement, I found the plot recycled in many ways from so many other shows- Oliver comes to mind. The dancing, the timing, the scenery were all excellent, but in terms of the story. Historically, it was interesting, but, oh, so simple. But my granddaughter got autographs and even a photo with one of her favorites, so it was all worth it.
I bought these tickets as a anniversary gift for my boyfriend. Thinking it would be a play I wouldn't be interested in I was hesitant to go. However, this was my boyfriends favorite Disney movie and he desperately wanted to go. So I surprised him for our anniversary and I'm glad I did! The broadway show was AMAZING! The actors were stunning and captivating. The dancing superb. I have never seen such a great broadway play. It sucked me right in, never wanting to take my eyes off of the stage for a second. I would go an see this play at least 100 times. It was that good! It's a must see.
This is a fantastic show! Why is it closing on August 24????? There is a future for this show. It should still keep running...
Best show we've seen in years.Dynamic, exciting, with a tender love story and dancing that was beyond great. Would see it again and again!!! One question: Why is it leavng Broadway????
High-energy, enthusiastic performances plus top-notch choreography timed with the moving stairways! Hurry! Newsies is unfortunately ending its run this month! Two standouts for me were Corey Cott as 'Jack Kelly' and Capathia Jenkins as 'Medda Larkin'. I wanted to hear another song from Capathia, who is obviously a rare musical gem with a gifted and powerful voice --- she belongs in the category of 'Great Singers'. Of course, the numbers performed by the Newsies were simply amazing --- Great show!!! View was great. Sometimes, the quieter parts of solos got lost in translation and needed a boost in order to discern the lyrics.
Newsies was incredible! A must see before the end!
Went to see Newsies as a mother/daughter day with my mom and boy am I glad we chose this musical! Newsies is incredible! The singing, the dancing, the storyline.....everything was amazing. My mom and I had the best time. I remember the movie with Christian Bale back in the day and found myself tapping my foot and singing along. I highly recommend seeing this show before it leaves Broadway. You will not be disappointed!

I have been wanting to go see Newsies since I first heard about it when it debuted. Clearly it took me about two years. It was fantastic! The choreography was top notch. I've seen my fair share of musicals and they knocked it out of the park. The storyline was so catching, the actors really pull you in. I never saw the movie, but I loved everything. The main lead was out, but I saw the understudy Adam Kaplan, and he was perfect! I couldn't believe how good he was. Try and see it before it closes because you won't regret it.
This show is one of the best on Broadway, I am so disappointed that it is closing! The dancing is truly phenomenal, the high energy and enthusiasm is palpable, and the audience has an amazing connection with this show. I think it touches everyone.
