WE ❤️ NEIL!!
by PNW on 2/20/24Saw Neil last summer 2023 in WA. And he was amazing as always!! Such nostalgia, such heartfelt sentimentsrr in his writing and performances. A legend. Reading through the reviews in here really makes me scratch my head…What dolts come here to leave negative reviews and minimal stars based on the audience, venue, seating, F&B options, etc. when Neil has ZERO control over any of that?? Come on, people. You’re reviewing the ARTIST. And some say “oh I didn’t know it would be him solo…” can you not read?? And “He played only songs I didn’t know”….. so you only go to concerts based on the #1 songs and greatest hits?? He definitely played some bigger songs so I don’t know what to tell you…. All so exhausting, and symbolic of our society that is never satisfied nor can just appreciate and just be present. So much complaining (yes, I get the irony in my commentary)! Anyway, he could play literally anything in his library and we would be happy. I mean… it’s NEIL YOUNG. And his stage was set up like a comfortable living room - with a piano of history and significance, a little electric train set that drive around its tracks, a fireplace, so inviting, charming. I could listen to his stories all day too. “What’s your favorite planet??” Love you, Neil!
